Can't tie me down

Malek had immense problems trying to catch up with Laelynn. She was fast. Luckily Malek and her were holding hands so he was able to keep track of her and he had would be able to at least stay with in a few feet of her. Even if Malek was able to focus on something besides trying not to trip he had a terrible sense of direction. He had been to the zoo once before but he wouldn't be able figure out where it was for the death of him. "Laelynn. Could you ple-MAL'S NAME!" Malek was cut short having to make sure he wasn't going to collapse by the large crack in the sidewalk. He took a few breaths as he continued to try to keep up with Laelynn. "Could you please slow down, at least a little bit?"

Malek took a bunch of deep breaths, he needed to run more, this was just ridiculous. When Malek caught his breath, he wasn't even mad. He was actually laughing. This whole situation was actually completely ridiculous. So much it was funny just to think about it. When he finished lauging Malek smiled at Laelynn. "Its fine Lae. It's really fine."

Malek smiled and nodded, following her. Today was actually a little chilly surprisngly. Maybe it was because they were surrounded by water? Malek really didnt know in all honestly. Him and water didnt get along very well. For very obvious reasons his dragon hertage, fire dragons, didnt like large bodies of water as well. "Its weird how its this chilly during summer."

Malek looked at her. "Hmmmm? Oh no. Im just half fire dragon so of course I radiate heat. Im perfectly fine!" Malek smiled at Laelynn. "Im fine really. There is no reason to be worried or confused Laelynn. Malek jogged in place as example nothing was wrong with him.

Malek shook his head and just followed her, thinking about what she said. Warmer? Oh boy........that can only mean one thing for me........crap. "Laelynn........." Malek couldnt find the words to tell her what was happening. Maybe it was best for a doctor to actually explain what was going on with him. They are the professionals after all. This was actually extremely embarresing for him. Malek just met the girl and this was happening?!
