Malek blushed brighter when Lae hugged his arm tighter.Malek listened to Lae and thought for a moment. "You not being able to fly or being able to contol elements doesnt make you any less of a dragon than my father or any other dragon Laelynn. Like people every dragon is different. But if you dont believe me, I'm only half dragon so you'll always be more of a dragon than me."

Lăelynn giggled happily. He had her there. She'd met more kinds of people than she could count on five hands. All kinds of personalities from all over the spectrum. It had become something of a hobby.

"You're right. Regardless of how small and fluffy I am, I'm still a dragon and that's something to be proud of~"

Lăelynn leaned in and gave Malek a full hug, cuddling into his chest a bit. She liked this kind of personality. It was warm and comforting and ever so cuddly.

Malek took a step back in surprise when he was hugged. His face was as bright as a tomato. "U-uh yea! You'll always be a dragon no matter how small or fluffy. and that is definetly something to be proud of on its own!................" He didnt know if he should hug her back or just let her hug him until she was satisfied. He had no words for this. "Um..........." If someone looked closely it looked like Malek was getting more red every second he was being hugged.

Laelynn snuggled in as close as she could to Malek before letting him go an stepping back. She looked up at his face and found that it was a very strange colour of red. The dragoness rested a cool palm against Malek's cheek as if checking for a fever, but she really had no idea what to do with him.

"M-malek are you alright? You're very flushed, perhaps we should sit down in the shade somewhere? O-or get you inside out of the sun? A-are you sick? Should I get a doctor?"

Malek shook his head laughing, his face turning back to its normal shade. "I am just fine, I'm a fire dragon so the sun wouldn't have that effect on my face....being hugged by someone as pretty as you however would." Malek chuckled nervously. "Yea sorry if thats a little weird.......I had no other way to phrase it really....um......" Malek shuffled uncomfortably, half expecting to be slapped.

Laelynn tilted her head at Malek, thoroughly confused. What did hugging have to do with his skin turning red? Was it some kind of allergy? She'd heard somewhere that allergies could be caused if they didn't get enough of something when they were little. Maybe no one loved him as a child. Maybe he was allergic to feathers? Lynn slowly backed away, her confusion becoming fear that she'd made him ill.

"I-I`m sorry! I didn`t mean to make you sick!"

Malek shook his head frantically, how was he supposed to explain. "No! Noooooo! No no no! You didn't make me sick! Not at all. Um....how do I explain this. Its embaressment. If a guy is hugged or kissed by a pretty girl he isnt dating. More often than not their skin goes red in embaressment. I mean they arent dating, they arent married. So its.....kinda embaressing for the person to be getting that much affection. Because why would she want to hug him or kiss him, when there are plenty of better people than him. They like it but it is unatural and.......this must be really confusing I'm sorry."

Laelynn followed Malek's explanation up until he started talking in third person. She understood that he had become embarrassed because she had hugged him and he wasn't used to it. She knew what embarrassment was. she knew that it was also something that usually happened between tied couples. Why it was happening to him with her was a very strange question she didn't know the answer to.


"Didn't we just finish saying that I was no less of a dragon even though I was small and fluffy? And I mean very small. The size of an eagle. That means you can't say there's anyone better than you. if no one is more dragon than me, no one is more person than you. understand? I feel like I didn't make any sense."

Malek looked at her in surprise. He figured she was trying to pair the he's in Malek's rambling with himself. In all honesty he had no idea what he was trying to say anymore, he had just given up on any chance of figuring it out. "No I understand what you said and your right. Thank you for your complement." Malek shuffled uncomfortably again. This was a little akward, Malek was going to admit that. But it made it more akward trying to explain why he went red went he was hugged by Laelynn.

Lăelynn watched Malek, still a little confused. At least he wasn't bright red anymore, that was good. Now he was upset though. How could she fix this? Lynn looked down at the map and smiled. She beamed at Malek, her eyes sparkling with excited curiousity.

"Malek will you take me to see the zoo? The one you said was in the city? I don't really want to be alone, or I might get lost."
