Malek looked at Laelynn in surprise. "Y-you want to go to the zoo with me? I mean....um sure! I don't have anything going on today so why not!" This girl........ On the outside Malek was calm and collected. On the inside however he was extremely conflicted. This girl was one of a kind really and Malek had no words for here. "There is two sections of the zoo. A magical part and normal part....which part do you want to see cause it would take two days to see all of both parts."

Lăelynn cheered and clapped once agian hopping with excitement. It worked! Malek was normal agian! She grabbed his hand and pulled him in the direction of the zoo, following the map.

"I want to see both of them! We can start in the normal area but I want to stop and visit every single one."

Malek smiled, blushing very slightly. "Alright! Forewarning though. Although I do say...normal. The 'normal' side of the Manta Carlos has whale exhibts, because why not. And I mean the massive whales, like the humpbacks and sperm whales." Malek was actually in awe with the size of some whales. They were actually larger than most dragons which was an amazing feat by itself but it only made it more amazing with how they lived, extremely carefree.

Lăelynn was more than excited now, pulling on Malek's hand to try and make him go faster. She didn't notice the fact that he was blushing agian, entirely focused on finding the zoo.

"I've seen whales before, but never up close!! I only got to see them when I was flying across oceans. Most of the other animals I've seen while tailing a first date. First impressions are very important you know?"

"Yea first expressions are extremely important." Malek smiled softly. "I'd say whales are some of the most beautiful creatures on Earth. Well the most beautiful out of all the creatures the masses know about. They are the defintion of gentle giants." Malek chuckled. He didnt think anything about be a gentle giant after living with dragons but whales have defiently proved him wrong.

"I haven't had much of a chance to see aquatic creatures up close. Papa thinks my wings would get damaged if they got too wet. He doesn't know if they'll relight naturally and sensei doesn't know whether or not it's attached to my life force. I've seen whales from a distance though. They look very small when you're high above them."

Laelynn's eyes seemed unfocused as she spoke, as if she wasn't seeing ahead of her at all. The dragoness squeaked as she tripped on a crack in the sidewalk, falling forward and dragging Malek down with her if he didn't do anything.

"Yes well whales defiently are not small if your u-" Malek felt himself being pulled and he looked at Laelynn. When he saw her falling he was quick to shoot his empty hand out and wrap it around her waist to pull her up. "Laelynn are you alright?" He would ask if he was succesful in pulling her up. This girl's gotta look where she's going...

Laelynn's cheeks flushed slightly as she stepped away from Malek. She knew that had been entirely her fault and it was kind of warmer closer to him... the dragoness almost didn't want to let go of him.

"Y-yes I'm fine. My apologies, I should have been more careful but I was so eager to get there and I just... I'm sorry."

Malek smiled. It was kinda cute how she was so apolgetic. "No no its completely fine Laelynn. It could have just as easily been me. So what are we waiting for, you wanted to go see the zoo, and you got me excited to see it as well!" Malek chucked and held his hand out to Laelynn for her too grab. "Shall we?" Malek smiled brightly at her, he wasn't lying when he said she got him excited for the zoo.

Laelynn grinned and happily grabbed Malek's hand. She was indeed very excited for the zoo, and she pulled Malek behind her as she ran. She was just running for the sake of running now, not even bothering to make sure she was going the right way. The longer it too to get to the zoo, the longer she could make him stay with her. Laelynn's cheerful laughter filled the streets as she practically flew down them, hand firmly wrapped around Malek's so she wouldn't lose him.
