((Swear away! I endorse the use of that word regularly, as a lady.))

"Oh." Laverna frowned slightly at Evander's story of being almost dissected at the mercy of a too-curious biology teacher. "Well, if you want to experience science with two lovely ladies, I'm sure Délise would be more than happy to have you on board as another assistant. Besides, she's ethical. Too ethical." Killing softly with love didn't seem to be Délise's style, but somehow she could imagine it.

The back room looked recently disturbed. Evander flicked through his drawer of movies and DVDs with his talon. Laverna took a biscuit and pondered about Evander's sudden question.

"I can't say I do or I don't. I suppose it's a different breed than American comedy. But those British gentlemen..." Laverna flashed a gently conniving, mischievous smile that only another succubus could truly understand. "They're just so charming."

“Oh. Sorry to hear that...” Délise rubbed her head. Admittedly, if she was in biology, she'd... probably want to do the same. How often would she get the chance to meet a gryphon, after all? Let alone study one? Délise grinned a little at Laverna's mention of being ethical. Well, Délise did enjoy staying nice. Too nice, maybe.

Evander changed the subject to movies. Délise supposed she and Laverna had walked in on him about to turn something on. She continued laying down the groundwork for an invitation, however, “Well, think about it at least. We're in chemistry, we'll protect you from the biology department if you need it,” Délise chuckled a little, trying to find a bit of humour for Evander about his past.

British Comedies... Délise couldn't say she had watched enough to know for sure. It was more cynical, she thought. A bit her speed perhaps, but more important about a British comedy were the accents. British gentlemen indeed. Délise could marathon anything that involved Benedict Cumberbatch serenading her with his low, rumbling voice.

Délise flashed that same mischievous smile back to Laverna, following beside her to Evander's back room. “I suppose we have time for a few?”

"Look, I do appreciate the offer, but I feel it'd be too reminiscent of my prior altercation with a college laboratory," Evander opined, as he idly flicked through his drawer of movies, his talon eventually stopping on Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. No... Too goddamn funny... he thought, groaning back over his shoulder. He liked the movie, but it wasn't very appropriate, given his present company. Then again, Monty Python in general wasn't appropriate.... But he didn't really care. With a grin, he grabbed the DVD directly below The Meaning of Life...

"I hope you ladies don't mind a little Monty Python," he said, before closing the drawer and gingerly taking the DVD case in his beak while he walked back into the main room.
