It's about lunch time, and Sky was getting really hungry after forgetting to eat breakfast this morning. He fiddled his brush around the nearly complete art plate due for tomorrow and patiently waited for the bell.

RRIIINNGG~

After hearing the not so melodious sound from caelum, he immediately crammed his art materials into his locker, and made a beeline for the cafeteria. There, he chose a filling tray of heavily creamed salad, a cheeseburger, and a glass of milk.

As he began fastwalking towards an empty table, he failed to perceive a fallen banana peel on the floor and promptly slipped. As he was, he contemplated to himself.
"Why must the world be depraved and lacking of goodness beyond all reason of comprehension?"

He laid down on the ground as he watched the tray he was holding and all of its contents spill out to unsuspecting nearby passers-by.

"Don't get me wrong, I understand and enjoy the appeal of a girl covered in milk, but there's two things I don't like right now - first, there's a burger on me somewhere, and second, this is my favorite blazer you got breakfast on."

Iris crinkled her nose at the breakfast all over her now. It wasn't that she was averse to mess - with her clumsy streak that was something she was used to. It was more his fast food-esque choice in breakfast that made her cringe. A bit of it got mixed into her own breakfast stew. With a disappointed expression she set it down on a table.

Sighing, she took off her blazer and folded it, setting it aside next to her meal, slightly thankful that she didn't wear her usual sleeveless shirts today under it. There was a little breakfast on her skirt and her undershirt as well, but taking those off was currently not an option.

She sat down and began to eat. "Okay, there's two things that have to be dealt with right now. First, your food - I just hope you're not planning on eating off the floor or, God forbid, licking off the breakfast on my blazer. Second - that was my favorite blazer."

He felt ashamed at what he accidentally did, and having this stranger girl dirtied up.
"I wouldn't eat what's on the floor, even though i'm starving right now." A teary eyed Sky said as he lay still on the floor. He slowly picked himself up and looked at the mess he made. He began to around to see if there's any mop and towels lying around.

"I do apologize for the---OH" he was interrupted mid-sentence as he slipped on the spilt milk. In response to this, he used his telekinetic buffer to cushion is landing, albeit way too hard, inadvertently causing nearby tables to fly off sending even more food trays in the air.

"Oh boy, this is not good." Sky thought as he watched the students' sustenance fall down graciously to the floor and to the students themselves.

She'd barely gotten more than three bites of breakfast before her table and everything she had on it went sailing off into the sunset. Clearly, this guy had to go.

Almost aggressively she gritted her teeth as she stood up and picked up her now absolutely disgusting blazer. Then she stepped over the mess and stood above the man, letting her power manifest in a glowing purple string connecting both their chests. "You know, I was going to let it slide at first but you made it so, so much worse."

Her wings flared out in all their starry, semi-transparent glory as she gestured for him to stand up. "We're going to get you out of here, and we're going to figure out just how you're going to make up for all of this. Be thankful I'm not sharing my irritation with everyone else around, cause that's an easy matter and that'll kill you."

As their souls were connected, Sky felt the pent-up anger that was boiling in Iris. Sensing imminent danger, he pushed himself far from the now pissed off person. With his adrenaline pumping, he began to immediately materialize his telekinesis in a form of a very durable sphere around him forcing the line to disconnect. The shield began to flicker and glow in an intense violet-blueish hue with a loud crackling sound as he reinforced it with his lightning. It is his electro-force field, a technique he trained for two years that he rarely ever uses unless in a state of emergency like this.

"It's just an accident! A double accident, a double neverlucking accident!" Sky pleaded as he stared in both shock and awe at the face of what seemed to him as a living embodiment of inferno's rage, which at the same time seemed to make her alluring to Sky's eyes.

Trying to defuse the situation, he began to speak in a calmer tone.
"How about we talk this over? I know accidents happen, and I know that a double accident is plain bizarre, but please hear me out."

Neverlucking? The mere expression threw Iris off-guard. She'd never heard anyone use that before, and it was admittedly an amusing, albeit annoying curse. Tentatively she threw a fork at the barrier and watched it crackle with energy before it overheated and burned.

Iris's voice dropped low, and if her face displayed visible irritation before, now it was a cold, controlled and tranquil fury that could twist steel. She didn't notice her sharing of anger, and she retracted it, thinking of how she could use that absent-minded act to her advantage. "Okay, so I'm guessing you felt a bit of how mad I am right now, and trust me, you do not want me to get so mad that I link you to everyone and give you everything bad that they have. You put that field down now and that doesn't happen. Don't put it down, or lash out, and I am giving you the worst day of your life. Am. I. Clear?"

Her blazer was more or less unsalvageable without using magic now. Irritated, she threw it at the barrier and watched it roast. A cremation was as fitting an end as any for it. She made a mental note to pay a visit to a certain lizard girl for a replacement as she spoke. "You have ten seconds to defend yourself. Make them count."

Unfazed from the sudden flash of an igniting blazer on his field, he was nonetheless satisfied with her statement. Not wanting innocent students to get harmed in what would be a devastating conflict, he took in a deep breath and immediately put down his field, while at the same time remaining on guard.

Lucky for him, he spotted a mop and bucket near a corner and began to walk towards it, but thinking about the other person, he decides to reimburse the lady's fallen lunch first.
"Oh uh, as compensation for the incident, want me to treat you lunc-" He slipped again as that same banana peel from before made him plant his face on the ground.
"Motherducking aye, I guess I do have the Bananappeal" He murmured with comical teary eyes as he rubbed his reddened nose and forehead.

Little did he know that the stress of the standoff unintentionally made him summon a storm cloud which is now brewing to a state of near-boiling just above the cafeteria.
"Just keep cool, just keep cool, it won't strike if I don't think."
He repeated the chants to himself while staring at the now dark skies.

"I'm starting to think this intentional. Am I on TV? Where's the camera?" Iris looked around for signs of surveillance, other than that one guy out there in the distance taking video. She stared at him and shook her head, and luckily he complied without much argument. As a token of thanks she winked at him and grinned, then turned her attention back to the man who was just being plain illogical at this point.

She sighed and bent over to pick up the peel and throw it away. This day wasn't going well in the slightest. Normally, were it any other person, she'd have cheerfully extended a hand and pulled him up. This person was an exception though - instead, she folded her arms and said, "Get up, and for the love of God don't slip on anything else or I swear I will make you regret it."

That interrupted statement seemed like an offer of free food. Again, normally she would have bit, as she knew she could resist any attempt to turn that free food into something else. And again, this person was an exception. "Figure out how to stand up without messing anything else up first and then we'll talk about how you make it up to me. If your offer's good, I'll consider helping you run away from the rest of these angry students."

Iris set a chair back upright and sat on it, lamenting the loss of her morning meal. "You know, this is probably the most convoluted way anyone's asked if I wanted a meal so far. I hope that's not what you were going for, cause it won't work like that."

"This isn't a scripted hidden camera or anything of the sort, just unfortunate."
Sky sighed as he thought about his disappointing luck levels that day. The storm cloud above the cafeteria still hasn't subsided, and quite frankly he has no idea what to do with it. He slowly stood up and telekinetically picked the mop and bucket, and began cleaning up the mess.

"Well, it's not only you who's having a bad day here, try slipping three times and vexing the whole canteen. Let me think for awhile." He said in a modest manner as he plopped down on a mostly intact chair pondering about his situation as he racked his mind for solutions.

After a few minutes, the floor has been mostly cleaned, and the downed food disposed in the bins. He stood up and began rearranging the furniture as he nervously brought up his idea. "Uhh, how about I offer you free meals for a set amount of days, handle the expenses for the blazer, while I stay low for awhile to keep things chill?, or maybe teach you some neat-o electro tricks?, maybe I'll paint a portrait of you on canvas." he said as he partially hid his face from embarrassment.

"Well, that's intensity of anger is quite unreasonable" Madlumay thought while she was watching the winged girl lash out her anger.

She observed the whirl and change of emotion of the whole cafeteria. She was lucky to be in the cafeteria to witness different intensities of anger, humiliation and disappointment. She also had never witnessed such quick change in emotions before. She was amused by the emotions she read.

"Every living creature, regardless of race, is selfish", she concluded. Everyone was so angry at the damage the boy has done to them. No one even bothered to ask the boy if he was okay. "Well, that includes me." she thought. She did feel bad for the never lucky guy. She thought of helping poor kid.

"I can't" she thought. She started to get up her chair. She sat down again when she read the boy's embarrassment and nervousness. "Ugh, what am I doing?" she asked herself.

She then decided to practice her emotion manipulation to dampen the girl's anger. "It might not work," she thought, "but at least I could try" She summoned a feeling of calm in her heart and tried to transfer it to the winged girl."Here goes nothing." she said
