Lăelynn nearly started sobbing, staring into Malek's eyes. Those beautiful, beautiful ember eyes. I can't do this. I can't brake his heart. Yuè please... What do I do...
Lynn dropped to her knees, overwhelmed with confusion. On one hand, she trusted her father's word. On the other, she couldn't bear to break his heart. The dragoness started sobbing, the only thing she knew she could do.

Malek frowned and knelt down to Laelynn's eye level. "Laelynn...please dont cry. I dont like see you cry. What's wrong? " Malek felt like he was definetly making this worse. He almost wanted to leave and just leave her alone. He couldn't stand watching someone cry. It made him feel helpless. And he couldn't ever be helpless again, no he just couldn't.

Lăelynn hung limp a little. She hated this. She hated every word she said.

"It's best if we don't see eachother until it wears off."

"Laelynn.....my soul...is directly tied to a magic well or something I dont know my father wasnt clear about that. Bascially it means I have a natural resistance to any and all magic. So. If your magic ties to people falling in love with you...it would have a lessened effect on me. Which means even if all the feelings aren't there. My affection for you still burns an eternal flame. Even with out your magic Laelynn."

Lăelynn whimpered, not sure how she was supposed to explain it now. She was at a loss for words. The only thing left to tell was what she couldn't tell... But if he wasn't lying... He had a right to know anways...

Malek almost laughed. Almost. "I have never encountered a magic I've not had resistence too. This string can't tie me down. Nothing, will tie me down. I decide my own fate and I decided my own passions, not some strings of love or fate. Laelynn.......I can't believe Im about to say this but I love you. For real. Ever since I saw you I feel in love. No string tried to tie me to you, I look and felt on my own. You may think I don't and thats fine. But I will always know what feelings are real and are fake. " Malek sighed and laid down the rose in front of her before standing up. "But of course I will let you chose what you believe. So if you want me to leave. Say so, I will not be upset as I know what is going on now. If you want me to stay, you can say that as well, again the choice is yours."

Lăelynn gave up. He wanted her to choose between breaking his heart and following Papa's instructions. Her tears flowed heavy and constant. How could he? How could anyone ask her to make a choice like that.

The dragoness knew there was no option. It was to betray her work, or betray her father, and she wasn't willing to do either. Instead, she would remain on the ground sobbing. Yeah. That was simpler. No one got hurt.

Malek looked at her in sadness, he was almost sad himself. "I would leave but I can't leave you like this Laelynn. Please cheer up. Everything will be fine. Pleeaaaaaaase Laelynn. There is nothing to cry about." He really felt bad for her. Malek paused for a moment before speaking. "Laelynn......I promise you I wont be upset if you tell me to leave. Worse things have happened to me. But if you dont want to chose. Then dont. I can make the choice for you if you want. Just please. Dont cry."

Lăelynn barely understood Malek's words. She just wanted to return home now. To Yuè, where evrything made sense and nothing distracted her from work and people were happy... Perhaps she should go visit sensei. Sensei would know what to do. Yeah. She should go see Sensei.

Lăelynn stood up unsteadily and let her wings reveal themselves. They extended, and unless Malek stopped her she would leave.
