Burning Roses

Malek smiled wider and returned the tight hug. "I am very glad Laelynn. I am very happy." Malek meant that with all his heart. He wanted her at least as a friend if nothing else. Hopefully they could leave this all behind now and just continue their friendship.

"Uhhhhhh Laelynn?......Laaaaaaaaaaaaaelynn...." She was fast asleep....Malek hoped she would wake up soon. He wouldn't know what to do and he didn't have any place to bring her as he slept outside. Malek decided to wait for a minute or two, making sure she didnt fall. He looked at her as best he could with her in the position that she was....she looked so innocent and peaceful....it was cute.

Malek sighed and picked up the rose. He didn't know what to do so Malek sweeped Laelynn up into his arms and placed the rose to her chest as he walked back to the park. He was thinking to just lay her on one of the benches, keeping an eye on her of course. What kind of person would just leave someone like this? When they got to the park Malek went for the closest unoccupied bench and laid Laelynn on it. He sighed and sat down looking up at the sky.

Malek perked up when he heard his name and moved in a little closer in an attempt to hear what she was saying. He knew he really shouldn't have but he was to interesting. He just had to know what she was saying in her sleep if it involved him. "Mal forgive me for intruding on her privacy." Malek whispered as he got an inch away from her face, looking at her. She had almost an unnatural beauty.

Malek smiled and put a face on her cheek to slide the strands of her hair off of her face. Her skin was so fair and soft. It was near godly. He gave up trying to figure out what she was saying about him, it was most likely nothing important anyway. "I guess I'm going to be stuck here for a while huh? Oh well. Its not like I mind."
