Today was a slow day for Tanau. Most of the classes were shit boring, save for maybe the power classes, most of people's powers weren't lame at least. In fact, now that he thinks about it, it's been slow going ever since after he checked out the island. Probably because of the whole 'school' thing.
There had been two exceptions to this, apart from getting to tour the island for the first time (that was actually pretty fun); the video games and the Internet. Some video games were quite similar, while others, hilariously, were not (The Zega Creamcast was called Sega Dreamcast, and actually didn't become more popular than the TES, or the NES in this dimension. This character known as Mario then became the mascot of an ever growing franchise, and boy had things gone in a different direction). And the memes. Most of them were actually quite similar, though never before had he heard of a helix-shaped fossil becoming a deity. The thought of that was so absurd to him it was funny.
Fast forward to this immediate moment, with Tanau spending his time in the student lounge browsing through memes. Helix fossil memes, to be exact. But that too was getting boring. Don't get him wrong, he loves memes. He just wanted to do something else for now. But what? He started looking around for someone to bother. He was here, he was bored, he might as well talk with an actual person.
That was when he spotted a girl using a device which he assumed was a phone. He extended his neck until he could see behind her. She seemed to be aimlessly wandering the Internet too. Remaining in his current position, he uttered a single word from behind her loudly enough that she would hear it.
