Bandit was momentarily stunned as Zippo zipped (ha) off. He was quickly chasing after, dropping the bone in his urgency.

Bandit barked at the drake, his hunter, and herder instinct kicking in. He was off like a bolt, ears back on his head. He moved gracefully enough to almost look like he was flying.

Zippo made another sudden turn and stopped around the corner, then ran back once (if) Bandit ran past. He would dash down an alley once he'd turned back, attempting to hide from the monster. Normally he would have ignited this thing, but he felt Laetus would be... less than happy with such actions.

Bandit looked around, confused as to where the little beastie went. He stuck his nose to the ground to follow Zippo's scent, but soon, the aroma of food had caught his attention and he was padding off down some random street without a car. That's not good.

No, you idiot, go home... Zippo watched around a corner as the drool beast wandered off, and followed it from a decent distance. Just go home. Just go home...

But Bandit didn't go home. He wasn't even sure where home was at this point. instead, he wondered dark streets and traversed thin allies. He knocked over a trash can to eat some of the contents.

That's when several other dogs padded down the alley. They were grizzled and obviously lived on the street. Bandit looked at them, and they looked back, heads low. The largest dog of the bunch snarled and took a threatening step toward Bandit, but he held his ground. Things were about to get heated.

More slobber monsters? Zippo debated what to do while watching from the shadows. Maybe a good time to leave? Would these things start bringing him garbage too?

The largest dog leaped at Bandit and the four dogs tailing it followed. With a yelp and a snarl, Bandit sunk his teeth into the lead dogs neck, but he wasn't big enough, or strong enough to take them all on. He was thrown like a ragdoll across the small alley and against the wall.

Blood dripped from Bandit's snout and his front right paw was torn. The largest dog dug his teeth into Bandit's neck and tore viciously. The fight was loud, and bloody, but bandit was certainly on the losing side.

What the hell was with these things!? Zippo blasted the big one with a fireball, and moved in front of bandit. He then blew a warning stream at the others. If Zippo didn't attack the big idiot after all this time, what the hell were these ones doing it for?!

The dogs of Paris had never seen a drake before. But that was to be expected. Those weren't common in the human world. Not in the least.

The large one howled in pain and fell backward away from Bandit and Zippo. The other dogs didn't exactly run away, but they did back up into a loose circle. Their heads were low, and they growled warnings at the dragon-thing.

They were uncertain whether they could take a creature like this. It looked small, but it had hurt their leader.
Zippo is so sassy lool

Zippo is going to dust these things. SOOOOOOOO much misplaced aggression.

Zippo seemed to smirk. So much wrath, so little time. Zippo took a step forward, spewing smoke from his mouth. He practically dared them to make a move.
