Bandit did follow as if the drake was his person and he were on a leash. But Bandit rarely walked with leashes, so he knew how to stick close and follow commands.

He kept loosely around Zippo, padding from side to side and sniffing everything he could. Whenever he found something he deemed amazing (which was pretty much everything) he'd bark to Zippo. A few times, he'd even picked up a dead animal, stick, stone, or piece of trash to "offer" the drake.

The drake did his best to ignore the buffoon , but he would whip the beasts nose with his tail at each 'offering'. What was Zippo supposed to do with his random trash? Something caught Zippos attention, however. A scent wafted through the air, and it wasn't Bandits deceased offering. Something smelled really good to him. He began running toward the scent.

Bandit, like any loyal dog, only assumed Zippo didn't like that particular offering. So he tried something new, something stinkier, something he had killed himself, he tried everything. Nothing made this lizard happy. Finally, Bandit snorted his own disapproval.

It was at this point that Zippo ran off. Bandit smelled it too, but he was still more concerned with following Zippo, whom he had deemed his new friend for no other reason than that the drake interested him. He acted very human and Bandit wasn't sure how to take that.

He easily caught up with the drake and trotted, rather than ran, to keep stride with Zippo.
Lool. I imagine Zippo as an evil mastermind now.

Lol. Like some Pinky and the Brain shit XD
The drake stopped at the entrance to a high-end restaurant, the scent emanating from inside. He began thinking of a plan to get food. Laetus had taken the food summoning device, so... how... Maybe a distraction? But what? ... The dog perhaps? But is the beast intelligent enough to assist? He doesn't seem to take hints...

Bandit sat beside Zippo, he stared at the restraunt, panting heavily and looking all the part of a stupid dog.

He looked at Zippo, and when he did, he began wagging his tail. He was sitting with is friend. What more could a dog want?

After a while, the drake looked at the mutt and tapped his nose with his tail. The drake then pointed at the restaurant, indicating for the dog to head in. Do this right, and Zippo may even allow this drool monster to serve him in the future.

Bandit looked from Zippo to the restraunt. It took him a second to understand what the drake wanted of him. When he did, he jumped to his feet and grinned. Do dogs grin? It looked weird on a dog.

Bandit barked continuously as he barged into the restraunt. The next second everything was chaos. Women screamed and staff chased him this way and that with towels and brooms.

In the chaos, the drake slipped in, went into the kitchen, and slipped out the back with two steaks and some escargot, plates and all. How did the little drake do this shit? Imagination or some junk. He waited out back, digging one of the snails out of its shell as he waited. He never knew humans ate these, but they were good.

Bandit managed to escape the humans with only a sore nose, luckily. He crawled over to Zippo, his chin resting on his paws as he stared at the drake, begging for scraps. This is how he knew to get food from humans, and this thing seemed close to one of those.

The drake looked confused at the beasts behavior, but simply rolled his eyes and shoved the extra steak toward Bandit before laying claim to to another of the shelled delicacies.
