"Well at least make yourself comfortable. Einar," She smirked. She knew his name, of course he did, that's what his dagger came with. She could see his secrets. She could see what he didn't want her to see, a residue energy. Like a spirit or paraphenomenon if they can't leave this Earth.
"Talk."

About what? he barked, annoyed that she knew his name, even though he usually went to great lengths just to make sure everybody knew his name, irritated by her voice and the manner in which he demanded to know everything about him. And who was she? No wone. Only the pride of a warrior stopped him from getting up and leaving like a six year old he was when it came to the temper tantrums, for he said to himself that he will not lose to this girl.

"You. Your past. Your family. Your life. Your secrets. You," she listed quickly, counting them off of her fingers. It wasn't that hard to say something about them. It wasn't like she particularly wanted to see his past, she felt she needed to and with an urge like that you can't ignore it. She believed in fate a great deal and obviously her and Einar's paths were destined to cross and the dagger played a key role.

'Annoyed' was the general state of Einar's being, for he was rarely anything but annoyed these days, and for a few centuries now. However, 'angered' wasn't something that was easily achieved, not even back in the past, when he was a warrior, which was one of the reasons why he was so feared-the cold way in which he killed, each moved as precise as the last one. However, he could feel it rising now, from his blood, a feeling that was bone deep and soulconsuming. He gritted his teeth.

Am fairly sure that I have already asked you this, woman, he said, rising up to his feet, but who are you to ask anything of me? First, it was my dagger, which you have no right to touch, but I gave it willingly so you would stop bothering me. And now you want to know even more, when you're neither friend or family, but a stranger that I haven't even met, but the one that has just started pestering me? Who do you think you are, woman?! And as he spoke those words, his dagger, now turned long-sword, turned yet again, into a spear, that he drew into the ground to underline his words.

She felt the anger in his tone and gulped a little bit. She unfolded her legs and picked up her books and sucked her breath in, before glancing back at him. "I understand that I've offended you. I'm sorry. I'll see you around Einar. But I just wanted to know, it'd help me in the future. I'm trying to channel," she tried her hand at guilt-tripping. The only time she had done it purposely and she wanted to see her hand at it. She was being slightly selfish and using her "attractiveness and blonde hair" to win him round. And if this didn't work then she would just walk off, not in a mood (but she annoyed a teensy bit) but enough for Einar to see that she wasn't going to stick around to be insulted and shouted out; even if it was her fault. She knew she was on thin wire, but maybe this time it'd work out the way she wanted.

Einar scoffed. Offended? That didn't even begin to cover what the girl has done, asking him so bluntly for his secrets and past, taking his name without even asking. He could see that she did not understand what she has done, but then again, in this time, how could she? For in the past losing your secrets meant losing your life, and losing your past losing everything you love, every person every feeling you ever had to hide in there so you could survive the next war. And the next. And the next.

Of course, over the years, as his past grew bigger he run out of people that he had to protect for most of them had died, but still, that made his past even a bigger secret, something he held even dearer to himself. And the girl just wanted to take it? Over his dead body.

Ha. Ironically, with her power, she could probably get quite a lot from that.

I don't care, woman. he said, leaving his spear to stand while he shifted the belt that had until recently held the dagger so he could move it to his back to hold a spear now.

She pulled a frown and turned herself away. "Bye Einar," she said loud enough for him to hear, and she padded back across the grass before reaching the steps and taking a small glance back and when she made sure that she was safely out of hearing distance she muttered quietly "no doubt our paths will cross again." She felt completely mysterious which was unusual but she was determined to unravel his mystery, there was some depth to his soul that she contracted through his dagger. She was particularly open to other people's traits and had quite the memory and her memory of this man was not going to fade easily.
