"Semmie please," she insisted gently. She hated the harshness of the wordsgirlas his tongue curled over the words and projected them at her. How was she going to prove it to him that all she wanted to do was see the history of his weapon and not steal it or anything? She thought on the spot. "How about I tell you the history of something? Or an object? Give me something that you know the history of and I will tell you as best as I can?" She bartered. She hoped this would work, or gain a little bit of trust from him.

She tried to evade his eyes. It was like he was reading into her and she prayed that he did not have some kind of mind reading and historic magic power or something because that would make her feel terribly uncomfortable and she couldn't deal with that. It was like he was undressing her mind, uncovering all the buried secrets and mysteries that she had hidden. They were usually stirred from objects that she had touched and was horrifically disturbed by the history that she saw and to forget them she had to kind of perform some kind of ritual so she could partially forget them; but he awoke them from their slumber.

Einar stayed silent for a moment, observing her, for he could not grasp her behaviour. She seemed both affected and unaffected by his presence at the same time, insisting stubbornly that she read history of his dagger, even though she was probably scared to death of him. Well, wasn't she an interesting girl. He smirked inwardly, before scoffing.

You are annoying, woman. he said. I shall call you whatever I like. He sat down once again, deeming that there was no reason for him to stay standing. Why do you insist so much of reading the history of my dagger? he asked, still glaring at her.

"It is Semmie," Sem fumed. How dare he refer to her as that! "I have a name, use it.Man." She spat at him angrily. He was clearly going to be difficult to convince that she was trustworthy.

He planted himself back down and she gave him dirty looks, it was unlike her but he had not asked her for her name and went ahead and called her forceful and unwanted names. It was different if the use of "miss" or "ma'am" was used, because that sounded polite. Her blood boiled with the anger of the lack of individuality towards her. "Like I said, it looks interesting and unusual. Unique," she hissed before adding quietly "I want to read it, it is attracting me." She bowed her head away from him murmuring these words carefully in case he got in a rage with her about her curiosity and the fact that she couldn't help but this dagger was almost trying to talk to her.

Einar frowned again. Do not order me, woman. he hissed, glaring at her with anger in his eyes. I am much older and powerful than you. Know your place. He scoffed again, putting his hand on his dagger as if it was trying to ran away. And what nonsense are you talking about? How can it be calling for you? he used the same voice to say 'you' in which others said 'idiot', or possible 'rat'.

"I never ordered you. I asked politely if you could," she growled, she let a little laugh escape her, she began to find him humorous, "I think you underestimate me, sir. I am more intelligent than you expect. My place is where I want to be and right now... I choose to be here." She stamped her foot on the bouncy grass trying to stand up for herself, she felt like another person was taking over her. She didn't know she had such strength in her.
"Yes me. Why do you sound so surprised? Is it because I'm a girl?," this pained her to say, she thought that all sexism and feminism in the world had been eradicated or even severely reduced. "I want to touch it. It does not affect you in the slightest. What can I do? After all I'm a silly stupid girl," she mocked imitating his voice, clearly to wind him up.

Einar scoffed again. He seemed to be doing that a lot since he started talking to his girl, which said a lot, since he was scoffing, snarking, and frowning practically all the time.

You are not as intelligent as you think, woman, if you think that I meant the literal place at which you stand. Being a soldier of six hundred years, Einar tended to think everybody was in the army, and thus had their rank. And since he was also a leader of almost the same amount of years, he always came on top, at least in his own head. Everybody was to listen to him, for he knew the best. And this little, silly girl thus had no place ordering him around.

It is not because you are a woman, woman. he said, leaning against the tree. He knew many powerful women in his time, and had no prejudice against their strenght. It was just that this girl was clearly not one of them. It is because you are weak. he looked at her in the eyes as he said that, taking her appearance in one more time. And even if you were stronger, it has never in my life called to anyone but me. So why would it call to you, woman?

"You're foul," she spat like a viper with venom. "I know I may be weak, but I assure you I am more stronger than you on some levels. Can you touch an object and see it's history flash before your eyes?" She waited a second for a response. "No I didn't think so." She beckoned for the dagger with an outstretched hand. She softened her features to try and reassure him, maybe if he won her trust he would open up to her and at the very least call her by her actual name or something better than a reference to her gender.
"Will you please tell me why I can be called from it when it's yours and it is the only one?" She wondered to him.

Einar tilted his head to the right and looked at her with mild curiosity, before leaning against the three again, his hands crossed behind his head. I also have no need for such ability, woman. I was there to see the better part of the history. However. he then tilted his head to the other side again, his eyes scanning her from head to tea. If you do have such a gift, it might explain why you are so drawn to me. It is not my dagger that calls to you but you that reach for my dagger. It in the end more than six hundred years old. The history around it might as well have its own gravity.

"You say such words with wisdom and age, it is like you are time itself. You are just short of the Shakespeare in your terminology. I have never quite spoken to someone with quite such a wide range of dialect," she paused for a breath and for her mind to catch up with the words she was saying, she often spoke too fast for her brain and lungs to cope with. "But please if you want people to not seem so hostile and be of a warmer aura around, ask for their name. It is appreciated, you may be more accepted into society as a hole. Whether you want that or not is another matter," she hinted helpfully.
"I would be more than happy, delighted in fact. Not so ecstatic because I feel darkness in which you behold, but nonetheless it is history and fascinating it shall be."

Einar looked at her curiously for a moment, for to him she seemed to live in a galaxy of her own, her words bearing no connection to what he had just said, her sentences completely detached from his.

You are strange, woman. he said, sighing, and shaking his head. And you are not getting your hands on my dagger.
