A massive shadow was cast over the general crowd that walked the streets, Seiken knew that everyone here likely had their own "special circumstances" but he couldn't help feel alone, as he always did, walking through such a loud, crowded place. He felt his blood pressure rising, the thrum of his large heart pounding in his ears, the whisper and murmur of every person around him. His amplified senses allowed him to hear, see, smell, even tastes everything- it was overwhelming no matter how many trips he took here.
The city was too complicated. Too loud. Too crowded. He missed the plains, he missed his pride. A woman walked by practically coated in perfume, and he visibly twitched- a large hand covering the lower half of his face as if that would somehow stop his animal-like senses. However, as he stumbled a bit (causing many nearby to hesitate nearing him for fear of the giant toppling over and turning them into a pancake) a curious scent washed over his nose, causing him to visibly blink and halt.
It was a familiar, yet foreign scent. The scent of the cocoa bean, a rarity that he had only been given by Hai on his birthdays- but it was different, this cocoa bean was mixed with something else. An innate sweetness he had caught the scent of in many things now- even the drinks seemed to have it, reminiscent of honey, but different. He had only had it a few times- in the form of an odd bread that had been filled with this sweetness and cocoa bean, but he had been too busy enjoying it to ask where to get it.
Chocolate cake is what it had been called he was almost certain- but this was different. He felt his stomach rumble, a pointless action- no matter how much he ate it would give him no nourishment. But the subconscious trigger pushed him forward, the massive man wading through the crowd- his nose lifted to the air sniffing curiously on occasion. He tracked the scent before he found himself at a small shop- the sign read "Harpers Chocolates". The scent of Cocoa beans and so many other scent scents practically radiated from the doors and windows.
Slowly, curiously, yet uncertain like a stray dog- his large hand pushed the door open. Ducking (quite a bit) in order to peek his head into the store- it was still incredibly early, no one was in the store yet, but whoever ran the place was obviously already busy or he wouldn't have caught such a strong scent. In an uncertain tone, he called out- his deep voice echoing off the walls of the room as his eyes remained heavy-lidded, uncertain for now. "Hello?"
