Milk nodded, before thinking to herself, glancing into the distance. Bear was supposed to be arriving soon, it was training day for him. Sparring practice.

"I see. I would advise you to put more effort into your physical education. A healthy body promotes a healthy mind, I was taught." Milk spoke again, her gaze returning to Avian's own eyes. "I would be happy to assist you in improving yourself."

Physical Exercise!? Avian never wanted the conversation to go in this direction! She detested exercising, and was more likely to talk about how she should do it, rather than actually do it.

"Er, n-no that's ok!" she said quickly, "I don't have much stamina and besides, but thanks for offering. Besides, I prefer staying in one place with my birds..."

As if on cue, a sea gull scuttled up to her on the sand, expectantly looking up at the girl.

Milk nodded at Avian's backpedaling. "Very well then. If you ever change your mind please come and find me."

Milk continued to speak, her eyes now locked on the seagull. They weren't as bad as pigeons, but they were still annoying. Bear liked them though, he was fast enough now to catch them on occasion.

"Birds." Milk simply said, staring at the seagull, a slight frown appearing on her face.

"Uh...yes," she replied awkwardly, "Birds..."

Instinctively, she stepped in front of the bird to protect it from the ominous frown. She hadn't met anyone who hated birds before. Sure, she'd seen people who were afraid of birds, but never anyone with malice towards them.

"My power is controlling them," she explained warily, "It's...cool, huh?"

Milk stared at the seagull for a bit longer. They weren't as bad as pigeons, but they still bothered her. Just because you can fly does not give you the right to take her onions.

"Cool. As long as you prevent them from carrying out their evil agenda, I do not mind your abilities." Milk said, turning her attention back to Avian.

"Evil agenda?" Avian gasped, looking down at her gulls.

They all looked up at her innocently, cocking their heads from side to side. The only evil thing she could think of seagulls being capable of was scavenging on the beach after the tide went out. They were often many crabs' worst nightmares.

"Are you sure you don't have birds mixed up with another animal?" she asked.

Milk shook her head, still staring at the seagull. While not as bad as pigeons, seagulls stole food from the clutches of humanity, slowly plotting to destroy the world through a lack of food.

"I am quite sure. You are sure you control them?" She asked, warily. The fighter did glance over her shoulder, frowning. Bear was supposed to be hear by now. He might have overslept...

"Why yes," she said with a bit of sass which was unusual for her. Although as soon as she heard her own snide tone, she immediately felt bad. Even the gulls sensed her sudden pompous pride, and puffed out their feathery chests.

"I-I mean...yes, I know what I'm doing," she repeated it in a kinder tone.

Milk glared at the seagulls, meeting the lead gulls beady little eyes. She could see the evil within, and hoped Avian knew what she was doing.

"Good. If I hear of any evil-doing by birds, I will hold you responsible." She said, her gaze returning to Avians.
