Milk was currently doing her cool down exercises on the beach, push ups mainly. She used to do pull ups, but she kept bending the bar from her weight. She was counting out loud, sweat dripping from her body. There might even have been a crowd around her at one point, there were a lot of footprints in the sand.

"Seven-hundred Eighty Three.....Seven-hundred Eighty Four...Seven-hundred Eighty Five..." She counted, not really taking her surroundings into account. She may stop, should someone talk to her. And speaking of someone...

An MMA fighter? No. She didn't think there were any MMA fighters on the island. Avian curiously watched the girl doing push ups on the beach, marveling at her physique. She looked impressively buff for a girl, and even had her hands and feet taped up like she was ready for a fight.Avian had been looking for a good spot to sit down and draw when she noticed the ripped girl.

So she stopped to watch, just to see how many push ups she could do. The few sea gulls who had been following her about stopped walking as well. They looked up at Avian, tilting their heads in confusion to ask why she stopped. Avian knew staring was rude, but how could she take her eyes off such a display of strength?

Milk continued to do push-ups, sweat dripping off her body. She didn't look like she was in any pain, or was slowing down.

"Nine hundred ninety seven. Nine hundred ninety eight. Nine hundred ninety nine. One thousand." Milk stood up, and noticed Avian sitting there.

"Hello. Do you need something?" Milk asked, her monotone voice completely not fitting the feat of strength. She stared at Avian, her large brown eyes never leaving Avian's.

Rather than answer the question, Avian gaped in awe at her, excited sparkles dancing in her blue eyes. She never thought she'd meet such a strong looking girl! She always assumed it was only the guys who got muscles.

"O-one thousand?" she gasped, "R-really? You did one thousand of those!"

Suddenly, she realized her bad manners, and quickly recoiled. Lately, she was becoming more and more curious about strangers, something she feared would come back to bite her later.

"Er...um, no," she shook her head, "I-I don't need anything. I just stopped to admire your strength. Never thought I'd see a girl so strong,"

Milk stared at the girl, confused. "Yes. I did. Did you not hear me counting?" The fighter asked, beginning to stretch a bit to loosen her muscles. Though, she paused at Avian's words.

"Did not believe a girl could be strong? Why not? Anybody can be strong if they work and train."

"Ah! N-no, of course I believe a girl can be strong!" Avian quickly exclaimed.

She didn't want to come across as sexist. That would be a poor first impression. She had simply lived her whole life being the pale, frail girl, so being strong wasn't something she was used to.

"I've just...well, I've never seen a girl so strong before," she shrugged, "It's remarkable really. Are you in a sport or something?"

Avian wondered if her guess about the girl being an MMA fighter might be true.

Milk nodded as Avian explained what she had meant. That made a lot more sense, indeed. The fighter nodded at the other girls words, closing her eyes briefly.

"Indeed. There are not many people who are as strong as me." She explained in her monotone. "I used to be an MMA fighter, but i have ceased that line of work, though i still do fight. I currently am employed at Starlight Academy."

"Oh, I knew it!" Avian grinned.

For once, she had guessed right about a person.

"I thought you looked like you had been in a few scraps," she continued, "So you're employed? Are you a teacher?"

Avian would've guessed body guard of some sort, but she couldn't think of any reason the school would need someone like that. The campus always seemed safe to her, and there were no imminent threats that she knew of.

Milk nodded at Avians question. "I am the current Assistant Physical Education instructor at Starlight Academy, and I also do personal training for those who need it." She answered, her normal monotone hanging in the air.

This girl was very strange. How did she know from simply looking that Milk had been in fights? Maybe that was her power.

"Ah," she nodded in understanding, "No wonder I haven't seen you around before. PE isn't my best subject,"

Milk was strange to Avian. She spoke in such a monotone voice with a deadened look in her eye. She worried that it might of been her way of letting people know that she wanted people to leave her alone.
