Beauty Of The Lake

"Oh, I see." Eve patted her shoulder, trying to display a gesture that's meant to assure a person that things were okay, or to keep them relaxed.

She chuckled upon the suggestion, and immediately nodded. "That could work, dear. I could think of a few names that suit you already."

James' current form was lovely, Eve was pleased she'd get the chance to name her, because it was a pleasure to pick a name just as beautiful for her. She hummed, unconsciously stroking her chin and lips with her index finger as she tried to think.

"How does Camellia sound? It's a white flower, and in flower language, it means adorable, or lovable."

Camellia. Eve was glad she accepted it immediately, and that showed as she laughed and clapped her hands before throwing herself at Camellia and giving her a quick hug.

"Wonderful! Oh! Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to uh..." She pulled away, clearing her throat awkwardly. Her cheeks were slightly red again.

"Um... Can I just draw you in this form, and then... maybe your male form too? I'll be quick with it later, I promise."

"You're beautiful, have I mentioned that already?"

Eve chuckled. She wasn't hitting on her, nor was she trying to flirt with her, she just really meant it and she didn't care about how many times she's said the same thing. Maybe a little flirting won't be too bad, but it wasn't like her unless she really wanted someone really badly.

"Do sit down somewhere, Camellia. I'll take a few minutes."

She brought out her pencil and sketchpad and flipped them to a blank page. As she did, Camellia would see a few more sketches, though Eve flipped them too fast for her to actually see the images.

"Alright, here I go," she muttered as she started to draw, outlines first and then her head and neck and shoulders. "Tell me if you want me to stop, I won't really mind."

"Hm?" Eve's eyes were focused on her for one moment, and then on the paper, and then back again. Her strokes to perfect Camellia's figure were both light and dark, but despite the slight mess, she was able to copy her well. Her face, which was slightly done after just a few minutes, was at least very close to the actual.

"I'm an artist, sorta, so yeah, I've always been into drawing. And painting," she answered her, giving her a quick smile.

She flipped the sketchpad after a while, showing the drawing's development. "How is it?"

"Ahaha..."

It was probably better not to tell her that Eve has already gone far in the art world. She went back to sketching the rest of Camellia's hair and body, keeping herself silent and focused for a while.

Her clothes were beautiful but... why did Eve feel like she didn't want them there? She shut her eyes close for the briefest of moments and slightly shook her head.

This wasn't good, but it seemed like she was attracted to Camellia in a different way than she thought....

"Camellia, do you have many friends..?" Conversations, conversations, start some to distract yourself...
