Meng chuckled a bit and shook his hand until the fire dissipated, proud of his little demonstration as he took another puff. He took the cigarette out of his mouth as he spoke. "I'm not too serious about it but hey, if you ever wanna study it..." He took a finished the beer and dropped the empty back in the cooler, his voice oozing with cockiness. "I'm around the city, pretty easy guy to pick out from the crowd."

The sun was still overhead and Meng had been enjoying its warmth, bathing in its incandescence as he had talked with Aivia. Maybe he can learn a bit more about that school from her, or at least a bit more about her. Heck he didn't even know her name, they'd just started talking here on the beach. "So, that school able to help you with that healing power of yours?" It was an interesting topic, and something Meng might need to call on at some point.

As he somewhat offered Aivia some sort of invitation into either his powers or his lifestyle, she again didn't want to say anything. This man confused her in more ways than one, which made her have to think about what her response would be to him. "Yeah, I'll think about it." She said with a light smile, as that was really all she could think to say. She surely didn't want to give him the wrong message, or to get his hope sup over nothing. His next comment though made her think even more. Had the school really helped her in any way? She hadn't even met anyone that she would could call a friend, and it seemed that her powers hadn't gotten any better. Sighing lightly, she shook her head in a no, unsure if that was the right thing to do. "I guess not, I've been here for a while but it seems that everyone jut wants to ignore me. It doesn't help much if I don't have friends to show my powers to, so no it hasn't been going very well. They haven't gotten very far, at least not yet."

"Hmm, no friends?" Meng scratched his chin and took another drag of his cigarette, looking at Aivia again. His eyes roamed over her once more. That little blue and white striped bikini showcased her body a bit too well, but for someone like Meng it wasn't a big problem. He could stare at her all day and then some. "Lovely girl like you not having any friends?" He sat up a bit more and gave a surprisingly sympathetic smile to the girl. "Come on, why'd anyone want to ignore a dove like you?"

He was laying the compliments on kinda thick, but he was also showing some concern. It did strike Meng as odd that there was someone around here that wasn't getting some sort of attention from the staff or the peers. His high school days, though long behind him, were full of cliques and peers always talking together, was it really possible for someone to not find a group? a niche? It interested him greatly. "More free time on your hands I guess, if you do wanna swing by for some magic lessons." He chuckled, taking his cigarette from his mouth while he spoke.

She was shocked at his sudden, rush of compliments, as she wasn't sure he even wanted her there. Thinking again, she changed that thought in her mind as she knew that there was really no reason that he wouldn't want her there. She was eye candy for him, as she could tell by his constant glare up and down her. Anyone could see that he was hitting on her, but for some reason she didn't feel the need to yell at him to keep his glares to himself. She wanted not to blush, but it seemed that the compliments had gotten to her. Blushing lightly, she looked away from him as she tried to get rid of the redness on her face. "I-I don't know." She couldn't even remember the last time that she was complimented by someone. As he mentioned her teaching her magic, she looked back towards him and nodded slightly. "Yeah, okay."

Was she? Yes, she was blushing. Meng was a bit surprised at how well a few compliments worked such wonders but hey, maybe she needed them? He shifted and sat up completely now, taking a much longer drag from his cigarette before he spoke again. "I'll tell you what. If you wanna we can go grab some ice cream if you want, my treat." He gave her that friendly grin as he spoke. She seemed like a good person but she was also so lonely... Granted Meng was more interested in her looks and how easily some nice words had worked on her.

"Though if you do want to head straight on to my place..." His smile became a little more playful, as though sharing some conspiratorial secret with her. He eyed her up again as he said it too, drinking in her figure as he spoke.

Smiling a bit at the thought of ice cream, that was another thing that he hadn't had in a long time. It seemed as if things that a normal teenager should have been experiencing wasn't the case for her. Considering that she didn't have very many close friends, the man in front of her, seemed like the only person that wanted to be around her, though to her, for the wrong reasons. She knew as to why he was eyeing her, as she was pretty much letting him. "Ice cream sounds nice." Even though his other comment seemed as if he wanted to get her into his place as soon as possible, she thought that it would be nicer to maybe learn more about this mysterious guy.

Meng stood up and stretched, giving something between a groan and an exhale as he did. "Right then." He quickly threw his obnoxious shirt back on and began to pack up his stuff. One more drag on his cigarette and he threw it away, didn't even bother to put the thing out. It didn't take long for him to collect up his cooler and turn to give another look to Aivia. "Its just up the beach a bit, small little stall but I quite like it." They wouldn't have to walk far, Meng could actually see it from where he had set up. "What's your name by the way?" He gave the girl a small grin "I'm Harrison." The fake name he was given suited him pretty well.

Nodding lightly in his direction, she slowly lifted herself off of the ground as she quickly looked over at her cover up. Taking it in her hands and putting it on, she felt a bit better. It was a navy blue slick cover up, one that her aunt had given her a few years back. Smiling a bit, she packed up her water and towel into her bag as she stared at the older man that seemed to have packed up his area rather quickly. Nodding again as it seemed that the ice cream store wasn't that far away. As he asked for her name, she waited to hear if he was going to say his, to which he did. "I like that, Harrison. Mine's Aivia." She flashed him a wide smile as she took a few steps towards him as se was ready to go. Pushing her bag up on her shoulder, she waited for his directions.

After Aivia had packed Meng had put an arm around her shoulder. His skin was hot and course, having left himself to bake in the sun like that. "Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He chuckled after he spoke, standing next to Aivia and not removing his arm, as though he presumed he could simply wrap it around this girl whenever he pleased. He didn't put any weight on her, nor did he grip her or tense up to keep her from removing his arm, there was seemingly no hostile action or implication outside of throwing his arm around her shoulder to walk with her. Though, the way he had looked her over before... Meng pointed with his other hand to the stall. "Right over there, Aivia. Feel free to get whatever you want, my treat." He started to walk, as though assuming she'd keep pace with him.

As he wrapped an arm around her, her first thought was to push him off and to call him a weirdo or a pervert. It seemed that he wasn't doing anything bad with it though, as if he just wanted to wrap an arm around her to maybe make her feel..... Safe? No, that wasn't it. He was doing it for some reason, but she couldn't figure it out. As he starters to walk towards the ice cream place, that he had a few seconds ago pointed out to her, she kept her pace up to him, as she didn't mind his hand around her. Smiling a bit she blinked a few times as him before making conversation on the short walk to the stand. "What's your favorite flavor?"
