Cross grinned triumphantly. That was the solution to this kid's problem; he needed a manly role model. He needed somebody to look up to! Oliver would grow up to become just as big and strong as he was...No, not bigger and stronger. That's just--No. Cross was still the manliest. Wait, Cross couldn't be the ultimate man without a mustache--

Okay, he could figure that out later. Besides if he grew a 'stache now, people would probably assume he was some pervert stalking the campus.

"You heard right! I'm going to make a man out of you," Cross said with confidence that soared into the skies. Already people were giving the two looks. Most of the sympathetic looks were directed at Oliver as if he were a poor victim who had no choice but to deal with Cross' wrath...or stupidity. Others shook their head and even a few girls pouted at the sight, most likely thinking that Cross was up to nothing but bullying the kid. Their friends had to hold them back and drag them away from the scene.

Okay, well it was too late to not look like an asshole. Might as well go for the touchdown.

"We're gonna go grab some grub...the Manly way," Oh, he was still going with the original plan of grabbing lunch, but this was lesson one! He was quick to snatch up the kid and tuck poor Oliver under his massive arm as if he were carrying a bag of flour...a really small bag of flour. No way this kid was going to get away without his guidance!

Their destination? The Cafeteria! It probably looked awkward when a giant muscled man walked in with a scrawny kid under his arm, but nobody dared to make it a problem. Before Oliver knew it, he was sat across from Cross with an 18 ounce steak, manly mashed potatoes ( he liked going into the cafeteria to punch the potatoes into mush), and a shit load of broccoli because apparently small kids needed a shit ton of vegetables to grow big and strong. The plate was huge and Cross' serving was doubled. " THIS is how you eat like a man. Better eat everything nerd. Men don't waste manly food!" and then Cross dug into his food. The pace at which he put away his food was... Terrifying.

Oh dear lord, why did he have to ask?

Oliver soon found himself the target of the giant man’s determination. He really didn’t want to do this. He wasn’t pressed to be a big macho man, in all honesty. But now he was being put into this whether he wanted to or not. If he said no, then he had better be ready for a life as a pancake. Oliver bit his lip as he noticed entourages around him leave the scene, either uncomfortable or unwilling to help. A sigh came from him. It looked like he had to face this by himself.

And all the sudden he didn’t feel so hungry.

Unfortunately, he was going to do so whether he wanted to or not. ”Oh I uh...” Before he could speak up he yelped as he was being picked up like a ragdoll and thrown over his shoulder. Geez, he really was a featherweight. But he didn’t dare thrash or wiggle in his grasp. At least he was trying to help. ‘Trying’. On any case the young boy found himself soon hoisted to the cafeteria. Carried through the line, only to be set down at a table with a plate larger than his skull. Oliver gulped, as his eyes fearfully traced over the platter. He didn’t eat that much meat… Well, that is like this. If he could shift right about now… Well that would be a completely different story.

Just looking at this though made his arteries hurt.

Oliver trembled as he looked at the dish. He couldn’t even eat two bites of this. Maybe the brocolli, but jeez this looked like he just cut down a tree and slapped it on his plate. ”....All of it?” He repeated, before grabbing a fork and the knife. This wasn’t good. At all. Gulping again, he tried to cut it.
That is, he would if it wasn’t so stubborn.

He tried to stab it to no avail. It was just too thick for his noodle arms, and he began to pout a bit. This wasn’t good. Nervous;y he tried to keep pounding it. God, now he really wanted to shift. He put down his fork defeatedly, before he anxiously looked at him. ”I um… Maybe we should start slowly.” Oliver whispered, probably unable to be heard over the aggressive food shoveling of the other.
