Wei nodded at Hal and thought about it. He knew someone who was good at sound systems, so he could pay her a visit and she could hook them up with a nice speaker, or something else like that. The more he sat and talked to Hal, the more Hal gave him ideas when he'd first felt lost, only solidified something in his mind. He inched closer to Hal.
"Hal!" He said, moving a little closer. "Hal, Hal!" He called, as though Hal was ignoring him. Even though he couldn't possibly with how loud his voice was and how close he was. "Thanks a bunch!"
He looked down. "I was worried about running on my own this time, and I didn't think I could do it. And I guess, it turns out, I still can't." A big smile threatened to split his face in two. "But! If I can't run alone, then I'm really happy I have people like you! Who will help me!"
