BAKE SALE, I SAID BAKE SALE FOO (open)

So she had the antidote, but it would cost money to get it. He didn't mind paying, but he was pretty annoyed about this happening. His glare soften as he gave an understanding nod and reached into his pocket to get his money. He got out enough money to pay for an antidote for both of them and handed it to Izzy. He could hear the soft whimpers of his daughter. After he handed over the money, he moved his hand to lightly stroke the girl's hair. The father softly smiled at his little one. He stopped stroking her hair to sign to her.

"You will be okay."

He took a napkin and began to wipe the girl's wet and messy face. It was his fault for not having checked the sweets beforehand. He felt bad to have caused his daughter to turn into a monkey girl. She was clearly distraught. Admittingly he didn't mind the cat ears too much though. They were weird but amusing. It was just the unexpectedness plus upset Faeyt that made him react negatively to what happened. Maybe he would just pocket the antidote meant for him. After all, they were only supposed to be temporary, right?

Looking around at everyone else enjoying the bake sale he couldn't help but wonder why. Why would a person be having a bake sale and not be charging any money for it, obviously the ingredients to make these sweets would cost money. As he watched her pick out a bunch and put them in a box he was stunned at the amount she was giving him, graciously he took the box and gave a slight bow. "Izzabella Zanetti, that's a nice name. I'm Sebastian Santora, pleasure to make your acquaintance. May I ask why you are doing this for free?"

Putting the box under his arm he turned to look at the others who were having fun and some problems with the small bits of what seemed to be magic in the goods. He couldn't stop himself from letting out a little laugh, "Not that I have anything against having fun but I have hard enough troubles with transforming as it is." Putting his hand through his hair and flicking the sweat onto the ground he looked back at the girl with a grin still imprinted on his face.

Faeyt stared upward as her face was wiped, soon enough she had discovered the monkey tail. Her little hands wrapped around the tail and she pulled on it, fairly hard, giving a loud shriek of something akin to surprise - or perhaps joy.

She peered at the vial - the antidote, her nose scrunching. She didn't like medicines. She lifted her hands to try and capture her father's ears in her hands; she seemed to have found something amusing after the initial shock, for she was giggling silently to herself.

She puffed her cheeks out and started tugging the tail again; she simply did not understand how this happened from a cupcake, but the shock was wearing off and the girl was starting to find it amusing.

He folded up the napkin and placed it in his other pocket to throw out later. He accepted the antidote bottles and pocketed one while he offered the other to Faeyt. Realizing that the teenager was notably upset, he used the hand sign for apology and gave her a nod. The man wasn't sure if she could read hand signs or not though. Serenity arrived back in his expression as he gave her a smile. Once again he hand signaled.

"Have a good day."

The mute turned his attention to the four-year-old as he noticed that she was reaching for his ears. He tilted his head downward for her to freely play with them as she pleased. His tail swayed from side to side as he tried to figure out how to give her the antidote. Then again, she seemed to be happy anyway. If she wouldn't take it, then he would just have two bottles in case she wanted another sweet for some reason. Of course she would only be allowed one more; too many and she would get sick.

Faeyt peered toward the older girl, blinking at her daddy's hand-signals. "Daddy says sorry. And to good day have." She'd mixed up some of his words; but she had certainly attempted to make sense. It made sense to her at least.

She stared upward at the antidote, shaking her head as she tugged roughly at her father's ears, trying to see if they'd pop off!

A game... That was something Sebastian had no experience in, the only games he had ever played was when his dad made a game out of trying to be quiet whilst they hid from the dangerous people that were chasing him. Maybe he should lighten up a bit and have some fun, this girl seemed bubbly and happy. That was something Sebastian wanted to be, happy and he was trying to make friends and companions maybe this girl would be a great first friend.

"Hey, Izzy. Can I have one of those... Fun cookies? I guess it would be a waste to pass up an opportunity to see how they work." This wasn't normal for him and he was in the middle of his run, but a few minutes of fun couldn't hurt anyone... Could it?
