The sphinx sneered and snickered at Theo's joke. She seemed to particularly enjoy those goofy ones.

"Does that ever get boring though? Like, that stuff is boring already. Then you have to do it at night, when it's like, dead silent and nobody's around... Do you ever get spooked?"

"Oh it's totally boring. There's really not much that scares me though. Between knowing how to defend myself and the fact that I heal from stuff really fast..." his voice trailed off a bit.

"It's fine though, I guess I'm kinda used to it at this point," he shrugged and smiled a bit.

"Well, if you run out of stuff to do, I'll tell ya that my underwear is probably the coolest," she snickered. "And I can pull some all-nighters with you if ya want. 'Cause uh... Don't tell Liliana, but I haven't found a job yet." But she quickly changed the topic from that.

"Yeah, it'd be awesome! When it snows more, we could like, build forts and have wars n' stuff! Or in the summer, we could hope the fence at a public pool!" she laughed. "It'd be like being in a secret club!"

Theo smiled a bit. He hadn't expected to wind up having this much fun at first, but here he was. Haritia definitely meshed pretty well together. "Eh no worries, I'm sort of in the same boat. I need to find a proper job so I'm not just burning through my rich boy funds. We could help each other out with that you know."

"You don't have to hang out with me in the middle of the night. But I won't stop you either. I haven't made a snow fort in forever... which might be a crime. Then again I think a lot of pools are open at night when it gets warmer because nocturnal people live on the island."

"Oh- Aw shit, yeah. I keep forgetting how many of you there are," she begrudged lightheartedly. "But yeah, that's totally a crime. Snow forts are the bomb."

By this point they had left the city and were beginning to enter the residential area. There wasn't a whole lot on the ground at this time of year, but there was more snow here on people's lawns than there was downtown. Haritia bent over to scoop up a handful and looked curiously at Theo.

She slapped it against his chest to see how he would react.

Theo looked down where the snowball had hit him then back at Haritia. Everything about his expression seemed unamused, tired, bored even.

"So it's like that huh? You've got..." he paused as he went to start forming a snowball of his own.

"About three seconds," he wasn't actually counting. But he threw the snowball after he'd made it and was going ahead and making another one. There would be no mercy.
