Character being adapted: Vincenzo Maria Fontana

Difference Explanation:
In this AU, Vincenzo gets picked up by the scouts at the age of fifteen, not too soon after he was sexually assaulted and exchanged his eye to Algrogath instead of getting picked up in his early twenties.
This makes all the difference in the world. Vincenzo was in a steady downward spiral his entire life, and in this AU, he gets saved at a point where saving him could still make a difference instead of reaching a complete breaking point. Vincenzo turns into a saint that’s eternally grateful for being taken out of his old life instead of the nasty supervillain he is currently. However, he’s not completely safe because Algrogath’s already put one foot in his mind and he’s not
leaving.
Notes: Any other notes you'd like to make.
Name: Vincenzo Maria Fontana
Nickname: Angel
Age: 26
Gender: Genderfluid, dmab
Species: Human
Profession: School Staff – Medical, Counselor
Appearance Description:
Vincenzo stands at 6’1”ft and he looks like an angel, with his wavy blonde hair and pretty face. He has the demeanor to match it, too. He has perfect posture and does everything in his life with a natural grace. He prefers to keep his clothes simple, favoring light colors like whites and blues.
Vincenzo wears a black eyepatch with a white cartoon eye drawn on top of it, and underneath it, he has a monster eye with a black sclera and a gold iris. Even with the eyepatch, Vincenzo wears glamour to hide it and give him the appearance of two perfectly normal purple eyes.
Personality Description:
> Humble, with an underlying degree of confidence. Vincenzo is naturally smart, knowledgeable, and capable especially in his chosen field of study. He has a hard time admitting he’s wrong, but will concede defeat if the logic presented against him has a solid basis.
> Righteous and compassionate. Vincenzo concerns himself with how others are treated. Since he’s been treated badly in an institution, Vincenzo may even betray loyalties (in this case, Starlight Academy) if his morals decide that its rules can only hurt, not help. Good =/= Lawful, and Vincenzo wants to be good.
> Sensitive. Vincenzo feels too much. Small, friendly interactions and loud voices are magnified tenfold for him. He rarely thinks of his good deeds as ‘good’, seeing them as only right, while he tends to think people’s bad moods are because of him. He thinks people are fragile and delicate, that he’s a monster, and he could hurt them if he even so much as says something bad. He has a great fear of being disliked. People think he’s a pushover, because of this.
> Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Vincenzo was sexually assaulted when he was young, so he’s learned to be sex-repulsed. He also has an irrational fear of being in a room alone with stronger or older men. He prefers to counsel students that have been assaulted, mentally, physically or sexually.
> Needy. Despite being repulsed by sex, Vincenzo craves intimacy, platonic and especially romantic. He’s grown up attributing his worth to his desirability. Vincenzo loves being seen as good, beautiful, intelligent, and, almost as a paradox, sexually desirable. He often mentally shuts down when his partners want to pursue sex with him, but he’s too afraid to say no. He will even use sex as a bargaining chip sometimes.
> Crumbling mind. Vincenzo will never tell this to anyone, but Algrogath’s magic is slowly destroying his mind. Because of this, Vincenzo ends up spacey and forgetful. At times, his memories get replaced or his moods become erratic. Anyone that knows Vincenzo tend to view him as a little nuts, but a good man.
Powers:
EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE
Power doesn’t come cheap. Vincenzo has traded several of his things to the Eldritch Abomination Algrogath to become more powerful and rise above his situation.
Heirloom : Bail
Power: Decoy
Vincenzo can put up one copy of himself anywhere at all and make it last for 24 hours. This form will either be completely solid or hollow depending on its purpose. It will disappear automatically after the 24th hour, when it gets severely injured or when Vincenzo disables the magic. This form does not have access to his abilities and he can only do this once day.
Price: An ancient magical pendant that belonged to the Fontana Family
Toll to his health: Vincenzo has zero control of what this decoy would do. In fact, this is completely controlled by Algrogath. You’d think having an Eldritch Abomination run around with your face would be the lesser evil, but try coming home a criminal and having several bizarre crimes pinned on you. Hahaha, whoops.
Eye : The All-Seeing Eye
Power: The power to see rifts in this dimension and spirits, and, to a lesser degree, aura, powerful magic, minor illusions and glamour.
Exactly what the heading said. Rifts are sensitive holes in this dimension that act as doorways to nearby parallel dimensions. Vincenzo’s magic is not so refined that he could cross dimensions so easily, but he can use the lesser rifts to hide in pocket dimensions. Sometimes, there are minor rifts left by people that know how to teleport. He can travel through them but he doesn’t know where the other end would lead and how long the rift would stay often. He can also accidentally enter fourth dimensional planes with non-Euclidean geometry. Those planes are very dangerous and filled with monsters that would want to tear him apart or drive him insane. He usually errs on the side of caution regarding this power.
Spirits are not limited to the deceased. He can also see astral projections and supernatural spirits.
Price: The vision in his right eye
Toll to his health: Several. When both of his eyes are open, his depth perception and sense of direction are terrible, and his vision is a mess of spirits and rifts. He is looking at the world simultaneously in the spirit world and the material plane. In order to properly use this power, he has to cover one of his eyes with an eyepatch.
Being able to see all sorts of disturbing things all the time can mess a man up. This power has taken a huge toll to his mental health. Vincenzo dislikes letting his right eye see things as he’ll be riddled with paranoia and hallucination for days. It stresses him out to the point that his organs don’t work properly.
HEALING MAGIC
Ever since leaving Europe, Vincenzo has been so thankful to the school that he pursued the healing arts with intense vigor. Vincenzo has since then graduated SA with a degree in Medicinal Arts. He’s a genius magical healer, able to heal severe injuries, fatal diseases, and even dispel minor curses. The technical details of this power is very complicated. Vincenzo has to consider external factors and implications or else the process could go wrong. For example, Vincenzo has to set bones properly or else the meat and blood will heal incorrectly, resulting in deformity or worse. Healing could take a day or more depending on the severity of the problem.
