The undead wolves completely surrounded Corona. He had been forced to retreat from the Forbidden zone when they had ambushed Paul during training. Even though he had taken over, his abilities were to restricted in Paul's tired body to be able to take all the wolves at once. Maybe he really was a fool for believing he could train Paul's abilities. It was at that moment one of the wolves pounced at his right arm. Even though the sun had already set, Corona's golden glowing eyes allowed him to see perfectly in the darkness. He sidestepped away from the wolf and rushed at it, slamming his knee into the creature's jaw (and hearing a loud snap come from it) as it went flying into one of the trees. A wolf from behind him had entered the fray as he sidestepped though, and as soon as his attack landed Corona felt a creature's fangs bite into his shoulder.
He jumped backwards and slammed his own back into the tree behind him, dislodging the creature from him. He knew these actions were futile, however. For the creature whose jaw he had just shattered had already recovered from his attack. Undead never were the ones to feel pain.
It was at that moment a whistle sounded and the wolves fell back. Corona straightened himself and looked around at his surroundings. He couldn't see anything, but clearly heard a voice.
"I see you aren't nearly as powerful as you used to be, Corona. Those wolves should have been no problem for you." The voice seemed to echo through the trees and Corona found it impossible to find where it was coming from.
"Who are you..?" Corona asked, but whoever it was ignored his question.
"I really am quite disappointed. But I suppose it is expected when you're in a human body. I suppose I'll have to wait a little longer before destroying you.. it wouldn't be fun when you are this powerless.."
Corona tried to respond, but he felt his consciousness fading from him. Paul's hair and eyes returned to their normal color as Corona lost control, and Paul then fainted.
About 10 hours later, as the sun began to rise, Paul stirred under the tree, about to awaken..
