Of course he was right. Tyberius was always right. He readjusted his arms under the boy, making sure he had a good grip to keep him from floating off. He felt something begin to wrap around his arm, and he fidgeted for a moment, thinking it might be an octopus or something. Those creatures didn't come so close to the shallows, did they? Carefully looking down, he saw a tail had wormed it's way up there, far different than what he had been expecting. Raising his eyebrows at Levi, he said nothing, choosing to ignore the strange and mildly concerning update.
"Now just... Relax. I've got you, you won't go too far." Nudging him along, Ty kept his hands firmly on Levi's skin, making sure the waves didn't carry him off to anywhere. The last thing he really wanted was to go chasing after a panicking demon. "See, look, you're floating. Isn't this nice?" It would be safer to teach Levi how to swim in a pool or more enclosed area, but he supposed this would do for right now. He just hoped no sharks would decide to come crash the party.
"I'm gonna let you go, now, okay? Try flapping your arms a little to move around, and tread gently with your feet." Dropping his arms away, he tugged a little more, realising that the tail was still wrapped firmly around his arm. "You're supposed to let go, too. "
