Béatrice was the tutor for Arjean, training them daily in basic subjects: math, writing, languages, and art were their main subjects. History was something she wanted to teach them later on, and science seemed too advance for them. Those three subjects were what Arjean was best at anyways, so she didn't worry much about if she was forcing them to do something hey weren't capable of doing at the moment. Arjean's family especially loved to teach them in creative arts and found they also showed promise in drawing and design. It wasn't as if Arjean was being forced to do something they disliked. They had a passion for learning and absorbed knowledge like it was the only way they could survive. In spite of their academic skill, they still retained the immaturity, ignorance, and bratty personality of someone their age.
Training in academics wasn't the only thing Arjean was forced to go through daily. Arjean's primary meaning in life was to be a test subject for their mothers to figure out the extent of oricenta magic, and if it was possible to expand further than having the power of one or two of the four elements. Tests performed on them at the beginning weren't always about intelligence, and they only became more common when they showed aptitude in academics. The most common experiments are intelligence tests, medicine, and obedience, often leading to Arjean shaken up and sick. So far Béatrice hasn't found much that's abnormal for an oricenta, other than how Arjean showed a quicker rate of discovering their abilities, as well as how their powers were more advanced compared to other family members at their age. The Afolabis and the Soies were usually born having only control over one element—even when they were mixed—but not two (or three if you include clouds) that can be mixed into a new power like weather manipulation.
Other than that, Arjean showed a disturbing interest in hurting others, and it only increased as they got older. They would hurt animals by preforming experiments their moms did on them, and they would hurt other kids by panicking and scratching them. While Arjean would feel guilty when called out for their behavior, their guilt only lasted for minutes to a few hours to just a day, but it was rare for it to be more than that. Eventually they would fall back into old habits, and despite them being aware that they would be badly punished for breaking the rules they found it difficult to resist doing things they entertained them. Arjean's family tries very hard to avoid letting that trait show to others due to the reputation it can give them.

-
A black deer with a white and blue horn. There's a gradient of blue on his body that leads to him having a long white, black, and blue tail.
- Creative - Coming from a family who have a high respect for art and design, Arjean quickly took a liking towards anything that gave them the inspiration to make things. With their overly active imagination, they'll think of nearly anything and will try to express it in any way possible, most commonly in the form of drawing and writing in their notepad. Sometimes their creative thinking can go a bit too far, though, and they'll believe nearly anything that enters their mind. They have almost no filter for what goes through their mind, no matter how good or bad it sounds.
- Intelligent - Despite their young age, Arjean displays intelligence higher than a normal two-year-old. That's stems from their love of academics, as well as how they're forced to go through daily brain training to make their family proud. While they have the common sense and wisdom of just a two-year-old, they exceed expectations when it comes to subjects like math, art, and even language arts in some ways. Their intelligence varies depending on the category, such as their language arts being around the level of someone who's a year or two older than them, their puzzle-solving skills being higher, and their science skills being practically nonexistent. Their love to learn mostly stems from pressure from their family, as well as how they love the praise they get from impressed people. Due to Junchi's influence on idolizing older kids, Arjean is eager to learn more advanced levels to be as smart as the big kids.
- Sadistic - Arjean shows a worrying acceptance and desire for hurting small animals and people in their age group. Their sadism usually takes the form of them doing "experiments" to see how animals function and respond, or just pulling kids' hair because they like the reaction and attention they get. There are instances where Arjean can be sweet and act like a normal, curious two-year-old, but they find it difficult to hide their violence tendencies. When they're angry at someone, they'll purposely try to make them hurt as revenge, and won't stop until they get bored or are convinced that they went far enough. Their actions could be explained as their family showing them bad behaviors, or how their species have a predator instinct that needs to be trained from a young age. However, Arjean's family is even worried by their behavior, and by their species standards, they're still going too far.

Powers:
- Weather Manipulation - Arjean cannot manipulate the weather around them on a large scale, but they can use cloud, water, and air creation and control to manipulate the weather in something similar to their own bubble. Basically, it has to be very close to their body, or what people would consider a person's "personal space/bubble". Moving outside of their range will cause their body to tire quickly and for their powers to shut down for a while until they regain energy. They are also incapable of controlling warm or hot weather, only being able to control cool and cold weather. Most of the time they lack true control over their powers, with their abilities working best when their body feels uncomfortable or unsafe and needs to be cooled down. This often happens when they're in warm or hot environments and their body can sense the life threatening danger of being there. Otherwise, their powers are hard to control, and often leaves them tired or unconscious.
- Cloud Control - Because the clouds in the sky are out of their "personal bubble" range they rely on clouds they've made to do anything resembling actual weather control. Whenever they make a cloud it appears directly over their head and gets bigger as they add more clouds, but they can't add anymore if it grows outside of their "personal bubble".
- Water Control - They are able to produce water and control it, but it's less exhausting for them to just produce water from their clouds to make rain. When paired with their air power they can potentially make snow, but often it just makes their rain colder than before.
- Air Control - Just like their clouds and water control, they can also control and create air. Since this is an invisible matter they often don't even know if their power is working unless they feel the air around them become colder.
- Materialization - Arjean can transform the clouds, water, and air into very small objects for a short amount of time. Since all three of those forms of matter aren't solid, Arjean has to force the object to become a solid with varying levels of success. They find water to be the easiest since it can at least turn into ice, and air the hardest since it's invisible to them. Most of the time the creation will just fall apart and disappear at the slightest touch, or in the case of water, create a tiny puddle.
Anything bigger than a small notebook, pencil pouch, or the average size of an adult human's hand will tire them out quickly. Because the objects they can make are so small, they're pretty much useless for most activities. How long they can keep an object stable relies entirely on their attention span, their energy, the size of the object, and how complicate the object is. Usually they can't keep an object going for more than an hour, though that can mostly be blamed for their short attention span and inability to focus on one thing for a long time.
Species Abilities:
- Owl and Cervid Physiology - Having both the traits of owls and deer, they also take on traits those two have. For their owl traits this includes being able to adapt to aerial environments, adapt to atmospheres for flight, turn their head 270-degrees, having sharp claws (though they aren't very threatening since they're a child), and night adaption (seeing well in the night, functioning well during the night, etc.). On the other hand, for their deer traits oricenta have a prey instinct (sense and avoid danger), enhanced speed, and enhanced jump.
Arjean will learn more about what they can do later on, but for now their owl and deer skills are limited to what a baby owl and deer could actually do.
- Owl, Deer and Cervitaur Shape-Shifting - Arjean is able to turn into an owl, deer, and cervid. In their baby owl form they take on a similar look of a snowy owl, but instead of black specks on their wings, a black beak, and yellow eyes, they have blue specks, a blue beak, and blue eyes. In their baby deer form they look like a white-tailed deer with blue eyes, blue specks on their fur, blue hooves, a blue nose, and blue within their ear and the fluff on their tail. They are able to summon their wings in this form. In their cervitaur form they look like their first form mixed with their deer form, though their wings are permanently attached to them.
- Healing - An ability all oricenta have. With this ability Arjean is able to automatically regenerate from light wounds, yet they aren't capable of healing the wounds of others yet. This is a power that will grow with age and experience, but Arjean doesn't really try to practice this power a lot.
- Flight - Being part air oricenta, the sky is one of Arjean's most liked areas to be in. They're still learning how to fly steadily, but each time they practice they get better and they feel more like a natural in the air. At times they become so comfortable in the air that when they walk on the ground they have trouble moving steadily.
- Longevity- All oricenta will stop aging at 24-years-old, the year they hit their prime, and continue to live forever, but they are still capable of being harmed and killed. They are still vulnerable to sicknesses, wounds, and whatever their weakness is depending on their oricenta type. Their best bet against those things are to be healed by either themselves or others. They cannot resurrect themselves from the dead, and even just trying to resurrect them is hard because their bodies turn into whatever oricenta type they represent. When Arjean dies they'll turn into a bunch of clouds and float away.
Skills:
- Creativity - Arjean is skillful with drawing, designing, and storytelling. All of the fantastical stories they create in their head they enjoy translating to paper and sometimes even writing them down to create messy fanfiction that only they could appreciate. They also enjoy drawing clothes, their imaginary friends, and doll designs. This is to be expected when a child is surrounded by family members who specialize in these skills. There have been times they attempted to actually make clothes and dolls like Béatrice, but it always ended with the product coming nowhere near what they wanted. Now, they are content with just drawing and writing out their ideas to have their family make them.
- Intelligence - Arjean is academically intelligent for their age, yet they lack in common sense and subjects that don't have easily defined rules and formulas. This is why they find themselves so attached to subjects like math and language arts, it's because those usually have rules for them to follow and not feel lost in. They're also trying to follow their moms in the field of science, yet are commonly rejected due to them trying to work with more dangerous subjects.
Arjean also knows two languages: Oscela and English. They have heard of French and Yoruba too from their family, but they can only pick out a few words from the language to repeat. Their way of communicating usually comes in the form of writing, drawing, and throwing vocabulary words they've learned without logical grammar linking them together. As well as their inexperience with language, they resort to writing, drawing, and gestures to communicate at times. Arjean's writing is actually much more expressive and comprehensible than their speaking; although, that's mostly because when writing they have an easier time translating their thoughts to paper, instead of quickly speaking them in a conversation. It's embarrassing when they are speaking to someone and they have to allow a small pause to translate what's being said to them, then translate what they want to say back.
Weaknesses:
- Heat - One weakness all Water oricenta share is the inability to get near fire or heat. The hotter their bodies are, the quicker and more painful their death will be, and being near fire (or on fire) is the worse case scenario for them. Heat and fire will kill water oricenta so fast that it makes their healing nearly useless since they're burning faster than they can heal. Because of this, when Arjean feels like they’re getting too hot they’ll usually make it snow above them, or create ice to rub on their body to cool themself down.
- Sensory Overstimulation - Coming from a species with enhanced senses, there also comes the downside of experiencing horrific pain whenever they experience certain senses. Some stuff that wouldn't bother a human would make an Arjean crumble in pain, and in some cases, they will pass out.
- Exhaustion + Power Inconsistencies - Since Arjean is still young, they have little to no control over their abilities. Often their abilities are used when they become emotional, which leads to them becoming tired, and in extreme cases, passing out. Even when they are asleep they will use their powers without realizing it, like whem they shape-shift randomly, or creating small clouds around their body. This increases the time they stay unconscious, or makes them wake up dizzy, confused, and still tired.
- Walking - A result caused by using flight as their main mode of transport. While in the air they are able to move around well, but when they walk they are obviously undeveloped for their age. They usually have to hold onto someone's clothes or objects to push themself around, and if they have nothing to hold onto they'll just crawl or get someone else to carry them. They're usually resistant to learning how to walk because they find the training uncomfortable and harder than flying. Their logic is that if they move around well enough flying, then why should they learn how to walk and run?
- Swimming
- Second Heart - Oricenta are born with a second heart located on the right side of their chest. This heart is the core of all of their species magic, but depending on the extent of damage it takes it can lead to them becoming extremely tired with their magic becoming unstable and weaker, or non-existent. This effects their immortality too: as the damage worsens they will begin to age normally and die from old age at about one-hundred years old. The only way for their second heart to be healed is by having someone else with a high enough healing power to recover an organ heal them. In the case of an oricenta who already aged higher than twenty-four because of their damaged second heart, they will stay that age while continuing their semi-immortal life.
