"There's, like, ten thousand legends about Oni eating stuff, there's no way I lost to y-" She burped as well, definitely not feeling great. She glanced around at all the people watching her. She didn't care what they were thinking now, but if she actually threw up and showed that she couldn't handle it. Well, she'd never live that down.
She shook her head and pounded her chest a bit too, glancing over to the door. "Yeah, well, whatever, I'm out. I won for sure." She asserted quickly before speedwalking to the door, trying to balance how much she exerted herself with her nausea.

"Hey! Where are you going?"

No way was he going to let her have the last word. He quickly started to follow after her, probably a bit too fast given his condition, waving his hands as he went.

"I definitely finished first, betcha just leaving so you won't have to admit it."

The other students, seeing the only mildly interesting thing that happened that lunch was ending, went back to their own business as the two headed to the door.

"Dude, stand back, I might fuckin' hurl-" She pushed her hand flat out towards him, doubling over with her hands on her thighs and breathing heavy for a few seconds before straightening back up and shaking her head.
"Okay, never mind- and no the fuck you didn't, I totally won there. You just tried to make a big scene about it 'cause you know I did." She retorted, totally sure that she'd come up with the most killer argument ever devised.

He looked like he was ready to keep this argument up, but he actually paused to take a step back after she doubled over.

"Aw, dude, please don't, you're gonna make me hurl if you hurl in front of me."

He could taste the bile at the back of his throat, he swallowed to try and put it down.

"Clearly, we need some kinda tiebreaker. Not because I think we tied!" He quickly added on. "Because I totally won, but if you aren't gonna believe me I just gotta beat you again."

"Yeah. Sure. Whatever. I'll beat you again." She responded with a smirk before quickly adding on herself. "But, like, we don't need to do another eating contest. They're dumb anyways." She said, crossing her arms.
"Anyways, what's your name? I wanna know before I totally wreck your shit." She asked, her smirk growing once again.

"Barty, huh? I'm Eriko. You're gonna wanna remember that for when you're telling me how awesome I am after I kick your ass again." She retorted, her own lips pulling back over her fangs into a matching grin.

"Heh, you wish."

He was about to continue snapping back before the bell signalling the end of lunch started to ring, Barty spared a glance around them as students started to shuffle back to class, before pointing dramatically at Eriko.

"You better get yourself ready! Because next time I'll beat you so hard there won't be any doubt whatsoever!"

He paused a second, head tilting as it occurred to him that, he really had no idea what he was going to beat her at. But that didn't matter, he'd definitely think of something to settle this score eventually.

"Until then, you better watch out."

He started walking backwards down the hall, pointing to his eyes with both fingers, then pointing at her with them. He kept up the challenging glare until he nearly tripped over a trash can behind him, stumbling briefly before standing up straight, shooting her one last challenging glare before walking away properly.
