My name is Thirteen, and I've been a roleplayer for roughly 8 years. The four characters below are yours for the taking in supportive or main roles for plots. If you have ideas, please don't hesitate to list them! Clicking on the names in the plotter will take you to their respective profiles, same with names in the relationships section for each.
WELL OKAY THEN, HERE'S A FEW MORE CHARACTERS:
Life's true intent needs patience,
Karma starts the signal.
Description
Aurora is a 140+ year old mage, a long time resident of both her home world of Horizon and of Earth. She is most invariably human, and a force to be reckoned with. Her motivation at the academy is primarily knowledge based, and she has a genuine concern for both her students and the safety of the supernaturals under her tutelage. Despite her personable demeanor, and otherwise simplistic lifestyle, Aurora desires greater power than she already has. The ability to peer into other existences and other, alternate existences may have sparked this study.
|
Abilities
Aurora is a Chakravanti oracle, a powerful mage with extensive abilities into fate and time. She is capable of other, more physical abilities as well, although these are not nearly as well developed; often her students are more well versed on such notes, a weakness she needs to rectify in order to reach her goal. Despite her incredible power, it is only very rarely noticed or seen, and often the effects look mundane to the untrained eye.

Plots & Motivation
Aurora is currently a supportive character, and does not have any plots of her own. There are rumors she is looking into timeline manipulation by certain forces within the school. Also concerts.

Loyalty, trust, faith and desire,
Carries love through each darkest fire.
Description
Terrene is the 31-year-old third child of the Chronomancer Aurora Silivasi-Awren, and one of the few teachers that works at Starlight Academy catering to the youngest of their students. A nomadic spirit at heart, Terrene is dedicated to the training and well-being of her students, as well as to the spirit of maybe finally settling down somewhere instead of travelling so much. Terrene is the caretaker for her pseudo-sister, Lumine.
|
Abilities
While most of the Awren family are mages, Terrene is considered more a sorcerer. Her ability is that of transformation into a spirit weapon that takes on the unique attributes of its wielder and empowers them with martial prowess for their unique weapon and increased ability power.

|
Plots & Motivation
Terrene is a supportive character and doesn't currently have any of her own plots. She is a nomadic and fiery one however, and would likely enjoy the more outgoing of the academy.

Turn the key, walk through the gate,
The great ascent to reach a higher state.
Description
Lumine is an adopted daughter of Aurora Silivasi-Awren and the adopted sister of Terrene Awren. Unlike much of the family, Lumine has lead an otherwise normal, if something of a rebellious life. She disrespects most authority, and enjoys being something of an intellectual snark and bully. Lumine is aware of her intelligence, and she uses it well. Her rebellious streak is also something of note; she enjoys a fight, she enjoys confrontation. But she certainly doesn't enjoy harming anyone who doesn't deserve it. Lumine was raised to be a classy lady, and despite her attitude, is well equipped to be quite the princess if she so chooses.
|
Abilities
The Kineticist. Lumine is gifted with the power of Kinetikinesis, an ability that allows her to form bubbles that amplify kinetic energy, charge objects, and to a limited degree, redirect the vectors as well. The gift is still very much untrained and subject to misfires, although she tries to be as careful as she can with it. Lumine is not immune to her own ability, and suffers recoil without redirecting much of the energy around her. Just take a look at her arm; it's cybernetic! (Mistakes were made.)

|
Plots & Motivation
Lumine came to Starlight Academy somewhat against her will, but she recognizes that it will help her control her power. She's not really one to go looking to make friends, but she'll certainly find them in the right circumstances. The same goes for fights too.

Disaster lurks around the bend,
Paradise came to an end.
Description
An alien from a planet 7,750 light years from Earth, Cytus is possibly one of the last surviving remenants of a race of ice dwellers, most of whom were likely killed in the hypernova of Eta Carinae. Cytus, as one of the species' operators was sent to locate a habitable planet in the Sol system and report back to the Aridians. However, with the destruction of their home star, it became more prudent to simply remain on the planet and learn as much as possible, as well as preserve her species culture as best she can.
|
Abilities
Cytus has latent supernatural abilities that she is aware of, but she is too young to have had them manifest yet. As an operator, her body has been replaced with heavy biomechanics and cybernetics. Her ship, the Kumari, is the final bastion of Aenari and Aridian technology, much of which is far more advanced than any tech found natively on Earth. She is currently enrolled in courses to learn about both Earth culture...and what her latent 'supernatural' power as an Aenari actually is.

|
Plots & Motivation
Cytus is likely the last remaining Aridian alive, and makes it her sole duty to preserve the knowledge of her species for as long as possible...and make it back to Eta Carinae if she ever gets the chance. She is trusting, friendly, and 'enjoys' supporting those that help her in even in the simpliest ways.

WELL OKAY THEN, HERE'S A FEW MORE CHARACTERS:
- Aternity Awren - A cyberneticist, and one of Manta Carlos' prominent technological experts. Something of a quieter Tony Stark. Loves artificial intelligence and jazz bass guitar lines.
- Mr. Gelling - Ever wonder how students and teachers are found to be taken to the island? This is the lady who handles it.
- The Consensus - Less a character than a force of nature, The Consensus is the universe's way of keeping the more overpowered populous in check.
- Thirteen - The smaller, angrier, slightly more anomalous version of Aurora. This kid is a handful to deal with.
