There were far too many times when Jacob had witnessed some hapless young man fumble with his words and body whenever they encountered a girl. They would stutter and trip all over themselves, unsure of whether to accept a girl's advances or try and be a chaste or listen to their instincts or any number of things. He always thought of himself above that. That age and experience had trained him to be more steadfast with women.

But the current situation was a little different. This was his student and he was already very confused with his own feelings. If they were caught, it could be his job on the line. But then again...

"Y-Yeah... I kinda do... But..."

Then Ania took the initiative and planted a nice peck on his lips. It wasn't quite the affectionate kiss he was expecting/hoping for, and that threw him off a little. Her lips were really soft though...

"... Huh?"

Then the poor girl started convulsing and changing and morphing and shrinking and Jacob had no idea what to do. He thought something was wrong and he was on the verge of panicking himself. Then it all ended with a little orange koi fish. He stared at the little animal as her bathing suit drifted away. It took him a moment for things to click.

"What.... Oh? Oh! T-That's how you transform? O-Okay... Um... Hey!"

Jacob didn't have much time to ponder how it all worked or what the implications of kissing his student was IF she used it to transform, because Ania swam away and around the pool. He tried chasing her for a moment, still concerned for her, but a fish would always be faster than a human in water. He slowed when it became obvious that she was still in control of herself and was just playing around or something.

When she finally came back around to bump into his stomach, he stared at her, confused.

"You okay? Whaddya need, Ania?"

Swimming in more circles, Ania was having much more fun, swimming around like this. Here, she was swift and streamlined. Her entire body was designed for one thing, and it felt good. It was too bad that there weren't any other fish here. Though, most fish couldn't survive in water poisoned with chlorine. Backing up, she bumped into Jacob's stomach with a little more force. This was starting to get boring, she wanted to go back. Surfacing, Ania flashed her fins in a little dance, squirming around in the water. She presented her fish face, trying to make him understand. Even if he dropped his face down into the water, she could plant another kiss on him that way. Allowing herself to sink, Ania took a few breaths from the oxygen underwater before popping back up. She got an idea then, and went back underwater. Bumping his stomach once more, she nibbled at it, suckling at the skin in a mime of a kiss. Coming back up, Ania did the funny little dance with her fins splayed and angled her face towards Jacob, bobbing with as much as a hopeful expression that her features would allow.

"Hehe. Now you really got the hang of this whole swimming thing, don't you?"

If anyone else were around, Jacob would have felt awkward and silly talking to a lone Koi fish in a pool. Hell, he did not even know if Ania could still hear or understand him. He supposed it was just assumed that the alternate form of a person who could transform into an animal would still be able to comprehend human speech. But their brains and ear... parts changed too, right? So wouldn't they not be--

His thoughts were interrupted as Ania bumped into him again a little more forcefully. It was hardly enough to push or hurt of course. But he would never ignore the rather unique sensation of a fish hitting him in the water. Looking down at the dancing fish, he surmised that she wanted his attention for something.

"I don't quite understand. Do you want to be picked up?"

As dumb as it seemed for a fish to want to be picked up out of the water, Jacob tentatively reached his hand out to grab at Ania. But she sank away from him, and he stopped as well. Perplexed, he watched her dance a little more and then tickle at his stomach. It actually got him to chuckle a little, and then crouch down in the water. His face was just above the surface, no more than inch away.

"You're a funny and pretty little fish. Just like when you're a person."

Frustrated, her little fin dance didn't seem to work, nor did the nibbles on his skin. At least he started to crouch down, though, and she leapt at the chance - literally. Launching herself out of the water, she soared at Jacob's face, making straight for his mouth. Her lips pressed against his a second time, and she flopped back into the water, squirming as the change happened once again.

It almost seemed to be twice as painful to change to a human, the bones had to lengthen and almost quadruple in size, organs had to grow back and replace the organs that humans didn't require. Scales retracted back to an unknown place under her layer of skin, drawing pinpricks of blood where they went too fast. Her limbs grew presently, and her body lengthened and evened itself out. It was fun though, just like she had said. Even a few mintutes as a fish were fun to her. She didn't like to spend too much time down there, her lungs already had a hard enough time adjusting to air, she couldn't even imagine having to adjust after a few hours of being underwater. A mischevious grin crossed her face, and she pulled the hair out of her eyes. "See, wasn't that fun? I told you it would be."

One thing she regretted, was having to go without clothes after a transformation. As soon as she felt her body quiet, her toes felt for the floor, and she sunk down an inch. Her hands went up to fold across her chest, and she shuffled awkwardly for a moment. "I've lost my clothes, I think."

"Such a pretty fish~Hup!"

Suffice it to say, Jacob was caught off guard by the sudden jumping fish and the subsequent fishy kiss. His reaction time was dulled by the sudden surprise and it was not until after Ania had plopped back into the water that he bolted straight up defensively, knocking himself backwards from the utter shock of it all. A splash and he was in the water. He broke the surface and stood up just in time for Ania to finish her transformation, though he didn't see it immediately.

"What was that for? That was so weird!"

As he pushed his own wet hair out of his eyes, he was greeted by the naked form of Ania. He froze instantly and just... stared as his face turned red.

"Y-Yeah... It certainly looked... fun."

He stood up fully, cleared his throat to compose himself, and tried to avert his gaze. He was a forty year old man. He had seen plenty of nude women in his lifetime. So there should not have been any reason for him to be so flustered over seeing another one. Even though she was his student and about half his age. And they were alone. And wet. And she was standing right there. And he was only wearing competition swim shorts were by small and thin by design. Oh, why were his eyes so hard to control now?

"I think you have as well... But, uh, d-don't be too embarrassed. I-I won't, like, touch you..."

Unless you wanted too...

"And besides you're very pretty! And it can only be expected after a transformation like that. And there's no shame in naked. And... I-I think I'll just go look for you suit..."

Ania appeared to be grossly nonchalant in the face of her own nudity in front of a teacher. She trusted him to not do anything odd, though she perhaps lacked the proper sense of boundary that most students felt. Clothes were, for the most part, an unnecessary hindrance. Tossing her hair over her shoulder, she examined her body agreeably. She was pretty, wasn't she? "Oh, you shouldn't have to look for it alone. I can help!" Hopping up on her toes, she surveyed the pool, frowning when she didn't see the familiar suit. "You didn't take it did you? I can't see it." She didn't remember seeing her teacher take it away, and he wouldn't have any reason to, besides.

A little worried about her borrowed clothes, she looked down into the water. She didn't know how to dive yet, but maybe this would be a good time to learn! Bouncing on her toes, she scooted a bit closer to Jacob. "Teach me how to dive! I think my clothes sunk!" Experimentally touching her nose to the water, Ania frowned and decided that she did not like it. Pressing her face further down, she blew a bubble in the water and wrinkled her nose in silent laughter when it came back to the surface. "Diving! Teach me! It's not hard is it?"

It was only a few moments, but it felt like longer to Jacob. His eyes flitted back and forth between Ania and various pieces of pool equipment, making him look even more suspicious than if he had simply chosen to just look at her. Pool cleaner. Ania. Plastic chair. Ania. Bench. Ania's milky skin. Lifeguard stand. Her captivating red eyes. Lifesaver ring. Her gentle young curves. Florescent lights. Ania. Ania. Eventually, he started to actually notice of her own reaction, or lack thereof. The girl seemed very much okay with being nude around him. Maybe he should feel the same way. About her. Being nude around him. Not that he should get nude too. Bu--

"I-I'm not some randy boy, Ania. Of course I didn't take it. It just floated off somewhere..."

Oh... Why did she have bounce? Sweet Ania had no idea what she was doing to poor Jacob.

"I don't know, Ania... Diving isn't very difficult. It's the coming up that can be hard, and it's pretty important cause... Well, we can't breathe underwater. Now while we're human anyway."

He looked out over the deep end of the pool, where the water seemed darker, then back at Ania and her perky... face. He was slowly coming down from his flustering and getting swept up in her cheeriness again. Though his face had yet to get any less red and he was still glad half of his body was beneath the water.

"Tell you what then. We'll dive together. You hang onto me and I'll take us both up afterward. It'll at least teach you a bit about controlling your breath. Deal?

Hmm, she hoped her teacher wasn't feeling sick. He seemed to be fidgeting a lot, his eyes darting all over the place. Not to mention the colour in his face, poor thing. She hoped he wasn't feverish. Perhaps too much chlorine in the air? At least he seemed to be calming down presently, perhaps it was just the shock of the fish thing. Yeah, that made more sense than a fever. "Together! That sounds fun!" He seemed to be eyeing the deeper end, perhaps he thought that her clothes had drifted out over there. Well! As long as they were found soon, she was happy. "Hopefully they're under there somewhere! I cant think of where they could have gone off to!"

It would probably be easiest for him if she hung into him from behind, though she wasn't sure she would be much help in searching. Tentatively, Ania scooted around to clutch at his shoulders. She didn't want to become a burden to him by flinging herself on his back. Not to mention it might be odd to have a student draped across your body in such a setting. The reality of the predicament was finally beginning to set in, and she realised how awfully inappropriate this would look should someone burst in. "Oh, wouldn't it just set this whole thing off if someone were to burst in without warning? Next time I'll be sure to stick to this body. I'm sorry for causing trouble!" Her face pressed into his neck as the unfamiliar feeling of guilt settled into her heart. Perhaps for the first time in a long time, she wanted very much to hurry and find clothes. "So I just hang on and hold my breath, right?"

Meanwhile, in Jacob's head....

"Core temperature is falling, Captain! Approaching nominal levels!"

"Good! I want to see blood re-routed back to the head ASAP. Subconscious, report the state of the libido!"

"*huff* We've suffered some causalities trying to contain it, sir, but we've got it back in its holding pen now. We're applying sedatives now and reminding it that we're twice her age."

"Copy that. *whew* We haven't had a sortie like that in years. Kinda feels good to be back at the ole helm again. Maybe we should dust off some the armaments and take him out for a--"

"CAPTAIN! Incoming fire from the opposing girl!"

"What?! Dodge it!"

"It's too late! We're going to take two direct hits to our back!"

"The core is already going critical, sir! We can't control the blood! It's all going right to the-!!"

"Oh god! The libido got out! It's killing all of us! Metaphorically!"

Jacob tensed-up the moment Ania made... contact with his bare back. It was difficult to ascertain the reason behind his tension. Fear? Apprehension? Surprise and shock? Maybe it was the physical reaction to something snapping or breaking inside him? Maybe it had just been so long that the once-familiar sensation of a warm feminine body on him that feeling it once more was too much electricity for him. Whatever the case might be, Ania was fortunate to be behind him.

Slowly he loosened back up. His shoulder lowered and he let out a long breath. He felt her lean into the back of his neck and... he came to terms with himself, a little. He did like it. There was no point in denying that. But it wasn't so much the scandalous closeness of her naked body so much as it was just being close to her. He liked the warmth of another. It was comforting.

"No need to apologize, Ania."

His voice had returned to its former evenness.

"We'll just explain ourselves calmly and laugh it off later."

He reached a hand back to pat her thigh, and he turned his head to smile at her over his shoulder. The blush was still there though.

"But hopefully no one comes. I'm kinda likin' this. Now just hold on..."

Jacob reached back with both arms and hooked underneath Ania's legs to hold her tight against him, full piggyback, as he started walking towards the darker water. He sounded a lot more chipper and excited than he did before.

"On the count of three, take a deep breath and hold it. Try to stay calm and don't squeeze me too hard. If at any point you want to come up, tap my shoulder and I'll race to the surface. Got it?

Shivering, Ania hung on tighter and tried to stay calm. The darker water was intimidating, and she couldn't quell the apprehension that rose up. He was in control, he was a good swimmer. Together, they could do this. Everything was going just fine. She wasn't sure what to make of him saying that he liked this. Of course, she liked the swimming lessons, too, but it was nice to see that this mess didn't put a damper on things for him. He was a nice teacher, she thought, not letting awkward situations get the best of him. Well, if he was liking it so far, so was she! As long as he held onto her legs, Ania was convinced that everything would be okay. "Okay. I trust you." So far, he had taken care of her. Good teacher. It would be fun if she had a class with him.

She was still a bit tired from her earlier swim, and she settled her head on his shoulder, leaning against his neck. Maybe after he taught her a bit of diving, they could go back to floating. Maybe even take a nap. A nap would be excellent. Biting her lip, she bit just hard enough to wake herself back up. She couldn't fall asleep underwater, that would be bad. Taking a couple deep breaths, she nodded once, encouraging herself quietly. "Okay~! I'm ready. Lets gooo!" This lesson wasn't over and she was already hoping for another one. This really was fun, though. Maybe she could drag some friends along if there was a next lesson!
