The army stopped twenty feet infront of the gates of the castle. A heavily armored soldier, presumably the general, made their way to the front of the mass and seemed to wait for something. The gates to the castle opened and two figures walked out wearing extremely ornate red armor, one of the being a couple of feet larger than the other. As they walked out they phased through Jude and Giltenn, stopping when they were ten feet away from the army.
The general of the green army spoke to the two figures, their voice was strong and prideful. “This is it Red King. Surrender and we’ll swear to give you and your throne a painless death. You aren’t getting yourself out of this one. No tricks, no dead army, it’s just you two. We’ve won.” The larger of the two in red armor took a long sigh. “Your Emerald Heralds are persistent that I will give them. But I will give you a counter offer. Drop your weapons and retreat, and your realm shall be forgiven for their actions on the Crimson Realm. If you do not, none of you will leave here alive.” The general was quiet for a moment but then broke into a fit of laughter. “Do you really think we are that dumb? Not even you two could take on this entire force and survive. This is your last chance to surrender.” The Red King exhaled and even longer sigh but was quiet. The king moved his hands through the empty air, an extremely complex rune forming as the gestures continued.
When the rune finished and the gestures stopped, the ground shook intensely. A loud crack could be heard behind the castle with a massive shape rising up soon after. The thing was so large it blocked out the sun, causing everything to go black for a few seconds. Soon the darkness would be overtaken by a dark red light, the massive shape revealing itself to be a creature of some sort. The creature was heavily restrained, appearing to have gigantic chains grafted into its skin randomly and frequently. On what could be considered it’s hands were large grotesque mouths. Inside of these mouths were large, reptilian eyes that appeared to be the source of the red light. The eyes of the creature shifted and focused on the army. Above the army now was a large red symbol, then a bright light.
When the light faded Jude would be in what would be the throne room of the castle he was outside of just moments ago. In the back of the room was a ruby throne, with the large armored figure from before sitting on it, his head resting on his hand. “So it showed you that event. Interesting.”
