Shale rolled his shoulders back in a shrug at his mom's question regarding sparring with Roldan, keeping his focus on the swan he was working on and leaning in close to look at it again. He was being slow and steady about making sure things were as symmetrical as he could manage, and was doing a pretty nice job of it. "Am I going to spar with him? I mean, yeah, probably...as long as you're fine with it. I've honestly been restless without fighting as much; it's really kind of hard to get used to." He finished yet another and started his seventh, his brow furrowed in concentration.

Smiling at Shale's answer, Celeste looked down at her swan, noticing that it wasn't as perfect as the others and realized then that she hadn't been paying proper attention to what she was doing. She had actually been quite focused on knowing what Shale had actually thought about Roldan.

"Of course, I am fine with it,"Celeste replied earnestly as she glanced up at Shale, "And I am happy you have found a way to release your pent-up energy. It'll be good for you." she stated as she started on her ninth origami figure.

Shale was still quite focused on his work; he'd started off worse than Celeste but slowly improved, whereas she'd been slipping a bit towards the end. Objectively speaking, they were probably close to even, though she likely still had the edge as far as perfect symmetry went. "Yeah...I guess I'm not the best at expressing myself with words, so I think it'll feel good to let out all that pent up, like...toxicity out." He finished his seventh and started on the eighth, still slow and meticulous.

Finishing up her ninth swan, putting by the others, Celeste looked at Shae for a moment before she took a sheet of paper from the pile and started folding her tenth and last swan.

"A lot of people have problems expressing themselves," she said, "What's important is to not let things build up too much or become a problem later on. It's good to try and express what is bothering us," Celeste said to Shale watching him work for a while

Shale set down his eighth swan, still progressively, incrementally better from the first one to this point, and began on his ninth. His tongue stuck slightly out from the side of his mouth as he concentrated, making precise and gentle folds. "Yeah...I don't know. He seems like a good person to talk to and to fight, so we'll see what happens, I guess." He steadily finished his ninth, grabbing his last sheet of paper and eyeing his mom's work as she was finishing. "I really am glad we got to do this. It's, mm...peaceful?"

"Yes, he is," she said with a smile, agreeing with Shale about Roldan. "He is very easy to talk to."

"And you are right, it has been peaceful, extremely relaxing actually," Celeste said as she picked up one of Shale's swans and admired the fact that it was well done, the folds were clean and even the beak and wings looked perfect.

"We should do this more often. Maybe ask Ebvion and Azure if they want to participate, make it a family activity," she suggested, thinking that it could be fun. They could even make Christmas ornament or other things."

Shale just nodded at his mom, not entitely sure he was willing to talk any more qbout Roldan at the moment. Truthfully, he was still sifting through his thoughts over him being here earlier, and wasn't yet one hundred percent positive what to think.

"Yeah...definitely relaxing. I think those two might like it. I guess we'll just see." He was being doubly careful about his last swan, taking most twice as long for every fold and staring intently at it as he did. "Christmas? I'm not familiar." Squinting, he finqlly finished the last one, breathing a small sigh of relief and lining it up with the rest.

"Yes, I think they will," Celeste agreed as she thought about Ebvion and Azure. She knew for a fact that Ebviony would probably love the activity, especially with the imagination she had. Azure, Celeste wasn't too sure about, the quiet lone wolf was harder for her to read, though Celeste had the feeling that despite his quietness and aloofness, he was content living with them.

Looking at Shale's origami swans, studying them, Celeste knew the effort he had put into them, and it made her proud of him, turning to Mr. Parson's her regalia, who had been watching quietly from a corner, she beckoned him on, and whispered something to him. Nodding at her words, My Parsons smiled.

"Celeste, your mother, has asked me to be the judge." Mr. Parsons said to Shale, "Are you fine with that?" he asked him solemnly.

Shale leaned back in his chair and blinked at Celeste's regalis as he approached, looking him over for a moment and then nodding. He mused to himself that Mr. Parsons reminded him of some of the lesser clan vampires back home that were typically assigned butler duty, just by the way he carried himself. "Yeah, I don't have a problem with that." He smiled over at his mom and then waited quietly for the judge to make his decision. Really, he'd be happy either way, just glad to have gotten to spend time with her.

Mr. Parsons smiled then when Shale accepted. He then glanced at Celeste, who just nodded in reply as she moved her chair back and let him look at the paper swans. After a long moment, Mr Parsons looked up from inspecting the paper birds and then at Shale, "Congratulations. The challenge is yours." he said as he stood back, and smiled.
