Shale blinked, slowly at first, and then rapidly as he processed the decision. "Huh...really? Whoah..." He smiled then, a small one at first, eventually growing into a proud grin. "Awesome!" He fumbled for his phone, struggling still with the camera on it as he positioned himself by his mom and all the swans and taking a picture to commemorate the moment. Finishing, he set it down and wrapped her up in a tight hug, pecking her on the cheek and humming happily. "Thanks for doing this with me, mom. I love you."
