Vito Rosales
It was a very, very important day for the Rosales family; it was their daughter Addy's Quinceañera. A child's Quinceañera was vital, to the kid, and especially to Klaus. It marked the day when a girl would finally turn into a woman, and Addy's, of course, needed to be perfect. Every Spanish girl looked back to this day as a marker of what they were going to be like when they get older. Vito was determined that Addy look back to it with nothing but fondness.
Addy said she wanted grand, and Vito was going to give her more than grand. He aimed for something out of a fairy tale. After pulling some strings, Vito managed to rent out City Hall's Ballroom for the entire day. It was a large, grand event with grand decorations, roses, spotlights, balloons, streamers, and velvet curtains. The dress code was strictly formal. There was a gift table as wide as the entire room, and half of those gifts were just Klaus. Each table had fancy white cloth with a rose centerpiece.
There was a wide dance floor where Addy would be dancing with fifteen of the guests later on, and a large buffet table that showcased every type of fancy cuisine, from lobsters to gold leaf parfaits. The waiters were all models, courtesy of Crown agency. There was an orchestra at the side playing Antonio Vivaldi's Spring as the guests descended the grand staircase, each announced by a local orator.
Vito himself was dressed in a rather handsome tuxedo, a communicator in his ear, listening to frequent reports of guards as they surveyed the perimeter. The security in the area was tight. After all, it was a mob daughter's Quinceañera. Some idiot would try to be cute. Vito gave strict orders to get rid of any troublemakers by any means necessary. With a pen in hand, he checked off all the guests that came in from his clipboard. Most of them were already accounted for.
Vito had professional make-up artists doing her clothes, face, and hair all morning. He got the message that they finished thirty minutes ago, and now were en route to the ballroom. Another update: She was here. Vito gestured at the lighting effects guy, dimming the the room as the spotlight was focused on the door. As soon as Addy came in, everyone stood up.
"Happy Birthday, Addy!"
Thunderous applause. The orchestra played a bouncier tune.
Vito walked up to Addy and bowed, offering his hand so he could take Addy down the stairs. He smiled. "So, what do you think? Was it everything you wanted?"
