Standing, he dusted himself off,
"it's fine, they're cheap, I'll get new ones after I get paid," he had a part time job at a diner, he wanted to save for a sun charm but as he said they glasses were cheap.
"Here, hold still," walking over to her, he pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and gently whipped the blood away and pressed it to the cut,
"won't need stiches, but it's bleeding a bit."
Taking her hand he put it on the handkerchief to hold,
"I'll get the bags," he quickly scooped the bags up,
"your legs ago, can you walk?" He stepped back over to her in case she needed to help,
"growing up on a farm, I thought you'd be used to getting roughed up," he teased a little, trying to ignore the pain of his burns.
"Come on let's get back, I'll grab you some food for dinner later," he said, gently poking her,
"the nurse will patch you up farm girl, behave and maybe she'll give you a lollipop," he continued to tease her in a friendly manner.
