He grunted. "Fine. Run away." Valentine closed his eyes, a tear streaming from him, "You sucked anyways. You can't think beyond the heart and the flesh. You stupid...stupid kid. Blood pact. I don't want your help! I don't want you to ever die!"

Another tear had streamed from his eye. His leg had tensed up and he round house kiicked the tree beside him. "I hate you! I hate you! I hate this world! I hate love! I hate friends! I should have just stuck to the way i was!" His fists continued to punch the tree again and again.

His eyes then turned darker. "You can't look into hearts at all. You just force everything!" He yelled as he continued to beat the tree.

Percy appeared behind him... "Your immature, I have more issues and pain then you can know. I could beat you to a pulp if I wanted. But I know it wouldn't make me any happier, your selfish, you never think about the person who's lived 301 years and seen way more then you. I personally think if you won't face the fact that you will eventually die and I was only trying to make it so you could be bloody happy and live a happy life with kids and a wife and friends and your dreams furfilled."

Another tear had streamed from his eye. His leg had tensed up and he round house kicked the tree beside him. "I hate you! I hate you! I hate this world! I hate love! I hate friends! I should have just stuck to the way i was!" His fists continued to punch the tree again and again.

"Valentine, get ahold of yourself. You wouldn't want Amelia to hear you acting like a spoiled rotten baby now would we? Unless you truly feel that the love you feel for her is terrible. But if that's true then I hate you, I admit I envy you that you got someone to love, to hold, to say sweet things to and yet I may never find my one. I may wait thousands of years, and you have it all sitting in your lap." He looked down.

His eyes then turned darker. "You can't look into hearts at all. You just force everything!" He yelled as he continued to beat the tree.

"I won't attack you Valentine, as much as you want me to. As much as you want to prove your more mature then me you can't. Because inside your playing yourself as the victum and acting like a baby. I may not be able to take the idea of me never finding my dream, but I won't let a immature kid that's whining and beating up trees talk to me like I'm the one with issues." Percy turned his back starting to walk away, he was ready incase Valentine attacked out of rage.

He sighed once, and just walked away. "Tell Amelia I'll be back in a couple days." Valentine looked down, so unsatisfied with life. I hate it all... He thought walking away to his dorm. It was so dumb, all of it, the love, the romance, stupid Percy. It was all a waste of time. What is the meaning of his life? If it was just for romance, just for them, then they could all just die.

Valentine felt so dark, and yet, it was so familiar.

"Valentine, wait... I guess I'm the one causing the problems in the first place. I'll go." With that Percy disappeared in a blink of a eye vanished from sight. Of course if one was staring at the air they would notice a streak of light leave the area. But to those obsessed with they're temper it would seem like he disappeared.

Percy went to the one place he felt free, the lake. But all he found there was emptiness the party decorations still up. All the lights out and everyone back at the lounge. He looked at the water his reflection shone on the glass like water. He threw a rock at it, Why don't I just die already?.... Why can't I go back in time and kill the jerks first.... He picked up a rock.... If I throw this at my head and jump in the water maybe I'll drown and it can look accidental.... He realized the rock could hardly knock him out easily. He sighed... "People say I should live, yet what is there to live for without love?"

He looked at the man who had dissapeared, and then he continued to walk to the house. He dragged his darkness to the house Amelia resided in. He felt lonesome, and wanted to be alone and yet, it was like he had a flu and knew the antidote. His eyes then looked down to the floor.

"Look, I'm feeling crappy, and Percy left. I'm sorry." He sighed and put his head in his hand. He sighed once more. He had forgotten that the rings were still open in his pocket. "There was some dissagreement. He wanted a blood pact and I didn't want it. I don't want him to die and I don't want him to help. I don't know him." No guilt would bring him to knowing Percy.

"Look, I'm feeling badly, and Percy left.

Amelia walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. She smiled lightly she figured Percy and him would be like this. She knew she had to make them stop quarreling, she knew Valentine had a temper as did she. But she wasn't going to let something tear Valentine up inside so he and Percy would never get along. She hugged him lightly and rubbed her cheek against his. This was a sign of endearment like a mother cub's nuzzle to her baby. A kindness to soften whatever anger there was. Since she knew anger and sadness she knew the cure.

"Valentine, I know you and Percy aren't exactly getting along... I guess what Percy was saying by the blood pact is he wanted to be better friends with you. He doesn't always come out and say what's on his mind. As for you two not getting along it was both of your faults, and I think you two should try and get to know eachother. You don't have to become best friends or anything, but maybe spend a day together and if you hate eachother's guts then I won't ask you two to try and be nice to eachother. But I want you both to at least not constantly fighting, I know he gets annoying and choses his words badly, but you do have a bit of a temper like me.

You haven't seen my temper and I'm sure you will in the future whether fighting by your side or beating someone for wrecking my wedding dress you'll eventually see that. Valentine, Percy and you are different that's what makes you clash often. Percy isn't angered anymore he feels it's useless to get angry unless it's life and death. He used to be quite a temper so I've heard and there are few to defeat him and live. Percy is a child of 301 years of hate and sadness and revenge it took him a long time to remember the love when he was a child and now it's faded. You may remember your terrible past, but now all he has is the bad memories, the good ones are harder to access and one day he'll have no memory of his parent's love."
She gave him a loving squeeze.

"Valentine, I love you and you remember your parent's love for you to help you escape. I know it hurts you but think if you never met me, and if you were 301 and in a 14 year old's body. That's how Percy feels right now. Don't take everything he says as a offense, he's a bit rude and oversure of himself and he boasts on his skill. But don't be hard on him, his heart may have pain but he doesn't have the cure to fix it like you have. He's still searching, that's probably why he wants to help. He wants to become your friend so you don't get annoyed with him and angry. Though he probably wouldn't admit that since he's as proud as a peacock and goes on about his skills for a hour. But his skills are good, and by telling him you doubt his skills you get him riled and he tries to tell you he's good without fighting you to prove it. So it only gets you both more angry, so... I think we should eat and then maybe talk about this. Okay?" She said releasing him squeezing his arm lovingly.

He looked at her, the hug had helped but still "No, let's ditch the subject like a dead cockroach. I have had enough of it. Alright?" He still had a bit of his temper. Valentine was only at the beginning, the cold part, then would come a bit of a raised temper, and then afterwards, violence.

Valentine then looked down at the table as he sat down, Stupid Percy, you complain all the time and yet do nothing about it.

She couldn't help but see her father in his actions. Her headache came back slightly this time filling her mind with memories. Her father, her father....

The scene was gruesome her father standing over a dead body with a pool of blood around it. He turned to her, his eyes, his eyes. His eyes were wild hate and unfeeling he had the look of murderous intent in his eyes he had no reason to kill either. His life was one of the cushy fine lives, but he was a sick man. He liked to pry on people's weaknesses. NO!!!! Valentine isn't like that! He can't be... She felt sadness in her heart, she didn't want a perfect guy but she didn't want a man who would possibly kill her. But she had to find out...

She shoved the subject off for a bit to see if he'd still have that attitude after the meal. If not she'd bring up the subject and try to see why he was so grouchy about it and wouldn't listen. And if he was.... then she knew she had to find out, she didn't want a man like her father. And even though she loved Valentine with her whole heart she couldn't go thru him being like her father. She rather end it all now then go on and be broken more.

What the heck are you doing Valentine! No! What are you doing! Stop putting your hands in your pockets and talk. "Hey, um, skip dinner, come on. I know that you worked hard, but you need a break. Bring your jacket. It will be a long one." He said bluntly. He sighed No! Don't say that! Don't think that! His eyes looked at her and he smiled, still having his hand in his right pocket.

Opening the door, he bluntly said, "We're going up to the mountains." He then dropped the fork and picked it up, placing it on the table.

She was glad she didn't have to deal with the whole meal eating silence. She needed to talk to him anyway, this was important to her. She needed to know that he wouldn't harm her in anger. She felt saddened because of the memories of her father, why was he so harsh in the wording? She used everything kindly, she told him she loved him she tried to be gentle she knew anger. But would he ever beat her because of his stupid pride? She looked down slightly exiting the house. She didn't bring her jacket, her mind was so far away the cold air wouldn't matter.

She trusted Valentine, but her painful past made her unsure if he would hurt her. She was ashamed that he might be a wonderful person and yeah yell but not beat or say mean things to. She just felt what if he was so angry that it brought him out of character. She never had a man like him in her life, she wasn't sure how he got when angry.
