He merely said in that odd tone, "I'm sorry. I don't mean my anger. I just have to have it calm for a bit." Valntine sighed, "I love you too. I guess that is what we're for. To be by each other. Today I always..." He grabbed onto the first rock of the mountain, "want you to remember. That I care for you." He paused in his climb, " I care that you are always happy, forever." He saw that it was around the time. The violet skies were coming. Right now, it was only an orange tinge.

She raised her eyebrow a confused look on her face, he was acting kinda funny. She trusted him now, but something seemed amiss. She wanted Percy and him to get along... "Valentine... You know you can't just drop the subject about Percy I mean... I want you two to be able to get along. You seem too angry with him, and I don't want you two to be enemies." She said a sincere look of worry and concern in her eyes about the two of them.

She didn't want the person who taught her so much and the man she loved so much to hate eachother. She wanted them to be friends.

"I...promise that...in time...we will get to be...aquaintances. For now...I can't guaruntee...that. I will...try though. Alright?" He hoped it was. He couldn't do anything other than that. It was weird, he wasn't weak from this day at all. In fact he had an adrenaline rush as he continued to climb like a spider up its web.

His eyes looked to the top. He was only three quarters there.

She smiled lightly climbing with him... As long as he'll try it's okay. She smiled seeing his adrenaline as he climbed, she shook her head. "Your sure energic, you seem in a rush to get to the top." She said with a smile, she was glad he was alright. She felt bad that he didn't get to try her lasanga, but she could always reheat it.

He shook his head, "No, just wanting to get up there so my arms don't burn out and I fall all the way down to the bottom." He smirked, and he fumbled his glass pouch. "Great...I am just fumbling everything. First the spoon, now this...sheesh." He smiled and continued to journey up.

"So, do you have any regrets in life?"

She chuckled following him cheerfully, he was in a awfully good mood wasn't he? She smiled climbing with him, he was odd, but she couldn't help but love him. She smiled taking his hand in her's and gave it a light squeeze. She felt all her worries and sadness drip away again as usual with him.

She chuckled at his question... "You asked this before... but... hmm... maybe I can give you some new answer... I guess I regret not having... not having trusted you as much as I do now earlier." She said thinking about it. She couldn't believe her mind thought that... She pushed the thought away, all was fine now.

He smiled, I guess it was a gradual thing. As was I. I didn't trust you at first because I thought you might break up with me. Though he dare not say it.

His eyes looked upon the violet sun. "This is what I brought you here for. Isn't it just wonderful, the relief of everything around you. I found it not too long ago. It was almost an allevement for everything that has happened. Though, now I have you." He smirked and wrapped his arm around her. He knew it was only their first date, but, there was something stirring, something that just wanted him to do this.

As he did, he "accidentally" stumbled upon a pebble. "Great..." it fell to the side of him by "accident." The box was still out of his view.

She smiled at the sight... it was beautiful. She didn't know he was going to show her such a beautiful place. She smiled thinking about how wonderfully romantic it all was. Then he stumbled, she knelt down beside him thinking he might be hurt. Since all that happened in the day and the climb and all. She looked at him lovingly. "Are you okay?" She asked she knew the fall wouldn't hurt him too much. But he had been thru a lot... She didn't know how he felt since she had gotten the whole headache thing earlier she never got to find out if he was okay all the way.

She hadn't noticed the box, and if she had he was more important than the box at the moment. She never suspected a possiblity of a purposal, she never really expected it to happen not that she didn't want or think it would. But she didn't know if he wanted to wait a long time before an engagement or a short time. She never could guess at a man's mind on this kind of subject.

He gulped, he hadn't expected it, such an odd thing. You stupid, of course she would go to you and not the box. "Yea, I'm alright, I just hope that you are." He grabbed the box, "Hey, looks like there is a box over here." He said with a feigned surprise.

He got on one knee, the violet sun right behind him, shining on him like an eclipse. Valentine looked at her in the eyes, the sparkle in his eyes matching the one in the forest. He breathed in, reassuring himself. "Amelia, you have given me joy since the first day we met. With that joy came some pain, but we got out of it. I promise you that with so much of that is to come. Amelia..."

"...will you marry me?"
He pronounced as he showed her ring. Amelia's ring glistened white gold, engraved with the words V.C. in the rubies. They glistened on site, since they were so near to both Valentine and the sun.

Her look went from the earlier smile from hearing he was alright to a shocked surprised but not dopified look. Her heartbeat fastened, Marry him... did he just ask me to marry him? I love him so much, and I do have a peace about the relationship. I know I love him, and I don't feel rushed but I never expected this so soon. She then smiled lightly looking into his eyes with her's, her heart seemed to no longer care about the trival thing that it was unexpectly soon.

She looked at him lovingly, she then opened her mouth to speak, but no words came. She just hugged him giving him a kiss on the cheek tears starting to come from her eyes, she was so happy. This whole day had been a odd one, she never thought this would've happened but she was glad it did. She gave him a loving squeeze, her heart was brimming with love. All the happiest moments of her life were with him, she accepted. "I love you... Valentine... I would love to be... your... wife." She said slowly managing to say the words.

Her heart was beating fast she never felt so... in love. She never had realized love had so many side effects, like feeling wonderful and feeling weird at times like this. Her hand became clammy as she slowly let go of him. She looked in his eyes everso lovingly. This moment had moved from a odd climb to the moment of a lifetime. Her heart beat seemed to be loud in her chest, she was so happy and excitedly in love.
