A Tale of Two People (OPEN)

She smiled, she had felt the urge to kiss him on the cheek for all he had done. But afraid he might not approve or it might be just the fact she herself was tired she decided not to. She gave him a half hug back and turned slowly back to the oven spreading out the pans for Percy to arrive with the ingrediants. She never thought she'd have such a peace about someone, she felt so at ease with him. She smiled lightly thinking about how they're friendship turned into a romance. It was rather funny to think about it, he kept denying it but it was written in their future.

Wow... it's so odd, I feel so safe and happy all the time I'm with him. He saved my life even, it's so odd how things are happening... It seems so fast, but I don't feel rushed, we're moving fast for a relationship but I truly don't feel like either of us are moving too fast.

Percy chuckled nearing the house... I bet you in one month they'll either be engaged or married. I'd almost litterly bet my money on it, I mean honestly I'd get a good increase probably 50% chance of a win. But I'm not a betting man, sadly that means I'll just have to watch it happen without getting more money. Oh well... at least I get to have some lasanga and wait for them to get married.

She sensed something was up, she sat down next to him a little nervous. She looked at him wondering what it could possibly be, she felt butterflies in her stomach as she waited to hear him speak.

"I...I want to ask you how much you have been thinking of..." he sucked in his breath, fake yawned, and then spat it out, "...your future. I just want to know what you think of it, I mean there is college and stuff like that. I don't want to impede you on your journey." He said it pretty fast and really felt nervous.

She put her hand on his hand, she knew he was nervous as was she. "You aren't impedeing, I'm not one for college. I think it's something I wouldn't want since it's more stress and I have nothing I'd want to really learn in college." She smiled lightly at him, "My dream is to be with you, of course.... there is one thing I like besides that... and that is to fight to protect the ones I love." She said squeezing his hand lightly. Her palm was a little cold and clammy. "Also, cooking is something I enjoy. Possibly one day I'll have a little resturant where Tony's pizza shop is." She said with a light chuckle...

"Come over here." He looked into her eyes, "You know, all my life, I searched for someone to make me happy. Seems that I got someone, and more than what I wanted." He looked down and then stared at her, once more.

Her heart fluttered, she looked lovingly into his eyes. Her heartbeat fastened, she wondered if this would be when they kissed.

Percy was approching the cabin, then stopped. You know... it wouldn't hurt if I gave them a little longer... I could just check if there is anyone betting on it.

His lips brushed against her cheek. "Thanks...for all you've done."

Her heart was in her throat, her hands grew cold and clammy. "I love you...." She said lightly squeezing his hand, as if to tell him it's okay I don't mind if you do.

Percy walked into the forest deciding to give them a few more minutes. He moved in super speed to check if there was anyone betting on the wedding of a vampire and a human. To his surprise there was a bit of betting for the marriage, that meant that he wasn't the only one to think of it. He sighed heading back to the cabin. Stink....

"I love you too..." He kissed her once more on the cheek. It was so wonderful, the kiss, yet so tempting to touch her lips with his own. No, he couldn't and wouldn't. He would just kiss her on the cheek.

"Thanks..." He said, loving the kisses he just gave her, they were something out of this world.

Her heart fluttered at each kiss, she loved the feel of his lips on her cheek. She felt his love for her with each kiss, after he finished she smiled lovingly and hugged him giving him a light squeeze she kissed him on the forehead. She slowly let go of him, hearing leaves rustle, "Percy's back." She whispered lightly in his ear.

She kissed his cheek lovingly and got up moving towards the door to open it for Percy.

As if Percy didn't know, Ha, not even the milkman could keep anything from Percy. Percy walked to the door and smirked knocking on it lightly not terribly loud just noticable. He didn't want to make them think he just would barge in all the time. He wanted to be polite and not wreck the whole romantic moment. He carried all the ingrediants for the lasanga and even picked up ice cream and pie. He knew he tended to overdo things, but afterall it was the couple's first offical date and he wanted to spoil them.

"Wouldn't you know... I was distracted by a sale in ice cream and pie. Then I decided well, I may as well see what the news was with the fights and well it's going good. And well then wouldn't you know time passes so quickly and all." He said with a slight chuckle because of knowing that Valentine was awful um... cheerful. He almost wanted to laugh at the whole thing but decided not to.

Amelia took the ingrediants from Percy's hand and started to get things started. She started to cook the lasanga noodles on the top of the oven when the water started to boil. She waited for them to finish so she could lay them in the pan and start the layering. She liked to cook, especially when it turned out extremely delicious. She smiled lightly.

Percy looked at Valentine and had a slight urge to talk to him about Amelia. "Hey... uh... Valentine, wanta talk to you outside if it's okay."
