A hand came up to his chest as he put on another shocked expression. The quips were good and came quickly from her. She was one of the few that was able to go toe to toe with him on then and Stefan loved it.

"Whoa whoa whoa missy... just remember the commonality here is you. My plan is supposedly to con YOU. Get YOU alone and seduce YOU with my charms. This is basically your fault."

Her next line caught him off guard a bit. Truth be told it was a two way street. He shifted his hand that had been resting on her thigh with their fingers interlocked so his palm was facing her palm and re-interlocked his fingers with hers. An eyebrow raised behind the mirrored lens.

"That seems like an awfully specific weakness you got there."

"Me?" Zora gasped. "I don't think that's right. No. Can't be... I think you are the issue," she shot back with a wide grin.

Smiling inwardly, Zora felt herself melting just a tad more when Stefan turned his palm upwards towards hers.

When Stefan picked up on her not so veiled hint, Zora couldn't help but look at him, meeting his gaze through his mirrored glasses. "It is, isn't it? " she agreed. "Fancy that," she stated with a tiny smile as she continued to look at his face.

"What do you think I should do about it?" she asked, her tone questioning as she squeezed his hand lightly.

'Not yet' he could hear his mother saying. 'Keep her dangling' she would say. Stefan hated to admit it, but just a little longer was needed, especially in this cat and mouse game they seem to have found themselves in.

"Well...depends...."

It was a rare time that Stefan didn't throw a joke or a line out. What he did do, however was move ever so closer to Zora. Their legs now fully touching from hip down, and their shoulders lightly grazing each other.

He left his stare right where it was, locked with her deep green eyes. He could almost feel his eyes burning to be let out from behind the aviators, but he had made a promise and intended to keep it.

"Does it now?" Zora asked, raising an eyebrow questioningly as she sat a little straighter when Stefan moved closer, tightening just a tad her grip on his hand as she laced her fingers firmly through his.

"And what does it depend on?" she continued as she searched his face, all the music and people in the room around them forgotten as she focused all her attention on the man before her.

A smile slowly appeared on his face as he felt her hand tighten around his.

"On if you like that weakness or not.."

'Now boy!' His mother would be flipping out at this point, but one thing he picked up that she never understood was anticipation was beautiful and made things better.

Stefan hesitated only a second, but it felt like an eternity. Finally he leaned in towards Zora, his head tilted slightly to avoid the embarrassing head bump seen in movies, and went to kiss her.

His heart felt like it was stopping and racing all at once, but he gave off no outwardly appearance of the nerves he felt. Calm, cool, and collected just as he always was.

That was a real understatement, Zora didn't only like the weakness, she found that she was becoming more and more smitten with him, it, every minute they spent together.

Staring at Freiya's son, Zora was mesmerized as Stefan lowered his head towards hers, she could actually feel how her heart started pounding in her chest and how her pulse began to race in anticipation.

And when Stefan's lips met hers, Zora felt herself melt, dissolve totally and completely. Leaning forward into him now, Zora placed her free hand on his chest as she kissed him back.

"Confirmed, I definitely have a weakness for blue-eyed Nordic men" Zora laughed breathlessly, smiling up at Stefan softly when the kiss finally ended. She also made no attempt to move back or away from him as her free hand remained against his chest.

Their lips met and time stood still. Reality seemed to melt away. Everything around them was of no consequence at the moment. There was only him and her. Stefan felt the hand upon his chest and it caused him to relax even more.

He felt her body push into him and he welcomed it by reaching his other hand around to her cheek. When they finally separated, Stefan looked deep into Zora's eyes and fully accepted he was completely taken by her. He laughed along with her then tapped the side of his sunglasses with the hand that had left her cheek.

"And all that's without these bad boys."

When his hand came back down, he traced from her shoulder to her elbow and allowed it to come to a rest on her hip.

Smiling, Zora laughed softly at Stefan's comment, unconsciously leaning a little into his hand when it grazed her cheek affectionately.

"Maybe it wasn't them beautiful baby blues after all," she teased, feeling elated and on a delicious emotional high as she fiddled with the buttons and fabric on his shirt.

Looking up at Stefan again, Zora felt a not unexpected tinge of desire when his hand lightly trailed down her shoulder and arm to finally rest on her hip. The gesture was clear that he probably had been affected as much as she had by this kiss and the growing intimacy of the evening.

"Do you have any plans for tomorrow?" Zora asked. The question innocent, yet not at the same time. She had no idea if this was too fast or not. It all felt ... very right somehow. Like they had known each other for months now.

"Quite the loaded question there."

Stefan teased as his hand resting on her hip began to trace the outside of her thigh. His gaze went down to it and followed his hand before slowly returning back up to her eyes. Taking the moment to take her all in.

"I'm absolutely free tomorrow. What you got up your sleeve?"

He joked with her. Stefan had absolutely been just as taken in by the kiss as she apparently had. Zora had him wrapped around her finger, and strangely, he was ok with it.

As she fiddled with the buttons and his shirt, Stefan couldn't help let his mind wander to more inappropriate thoughts. He quickly pushed those to the side but didn't fully dismiss them. He just wanted to relish in the moment with her.

Zora glanced down when she felt Stefan's hand move lower and felt once again her body react to his touch.

"I haven't got anything up my sleeve actually..." Zora said with a playful grin as she looked up at Stefan.

But then, after a moment, she turned a bit more serious.

"I mean, I do have a thing, but I don't know how appropriate it is, or would be if I suggested going somewhere a bit more private," she said, her gaze questioning as she stopped fiddling with the fabric and laid her hand flat against his chest.
