Enelya thought for a moment, and then replied, "Why don't you go get it... and then come back for me, because I don't feel like moving quite yet..." She smiled, and closed her eyes.

When she closed her eyes, he sat there, looking down at her with a warm smile. He brushed his hand across her forhead and through her hair. I'll be back shortly, alright? Wait for me?"

He stood up after a minute and turned to go.

She felt his hand run over her forehead, then through her hair, and nodded at what he said. She took in the smells of the lake, the sounds of the birds, and the feel of the sand. In her own way, she was meditating, becoming one with nature. But for now, she waited for Kotah's return.

He came back in a short while, though looking somewhat different. His head was down, his hair flowing behind him in a breeze but managing to stay in his face despite natures best effort. A frown graced his lips while his right arm was carrying a circular chunk of painted wood filled with small holes and his left hand was resting in his pocket.

He glanced up and saw Enelya resting right where she was when he left. Walking over to her, he kneeled beside her and asked, "Would you have any objections to me temporarily nailing this to a tree?" He tilted his right hand, indicating the makeshift dart board.

Enelya heard his question, and whispered, murmuring. "The tree says it doesn't mind. Just, be gentle, and don't nail too deep." She said this without opening her eyes, and smiled slightly.

Kotah walked over to the tree closest to him, stuck one of his acupuncture needles in gently, and slid his board into it via the hole he had already made for it. Stepping back a couple feet, he eyed the height and nodded in satisfaction. He then turned around, looking at his feet to measure his distance; his hair flowed gently in a breeze. He stopped at what he believed was fifteen feet. He flicked a finger just write to open his pouch, reached in, and pulled out a handful of needles and started slinging them at the board. The majority of his needles struck the board in various, uncontrolled locations; a few managed to miss the tree entirely, but he wasn't too worried, since his ratio has increased quite a bit. He glanced at Enelya, who he thought was dozing off, and started a more rigorous exercise by continuously throwing every last needle in his hand. His hand flew throw the air almost as quickly as his projectiles. More than a few missed this time, but the locations were more pronounced on the board with an occational clatter of one needle bouncing off another.

Enelya listened the various clanking, and clinking of the needles. She smiled whenever she heard a 'thunk', the sound of the needle hitting the board. She opened her eyes, and flipped over on her belly and put her hands under her chin, keeping herself upright with her elbows.

"Your getting pretty good." She smiled, waved her hand, and blades of grass wove together, raising, as they held his needles, which had not hit the board, making it easier for Kotah to go retrieve, without searching through the leaves.

He smiled at her compliment and how she made it easier for him to retrieve his weapons. He wasn't worrying about it yet, though, since he knew he had another large handful left. When he ran out from this routine, he grabbed a bunch for each hand from his pouch. His arms started moving up and down, needles slung at just the right moment with each pass to fly in the true direction. The very rapid thunks brought a smile to his face. Even though he missed about half, it was still the best he had done and loved to hear the speedy thunkthunkthunkthunkthunkthunk. He started walking toward the board to gather up everything he had thrown. While he walked, he slowed his pace and tossed two at each step, one in each hand. As he got closer, the difference in his hands became apparent as his right hand came very close to the center after the ten-foot mark, and his left hand was just making it onto the board.

Gathering his things from the ground first, he moved on to the board, yanking each and everyone of them out and placing them back in his pouch. As he finished up, he went back to his fifteen foot mark and started again.

Enelya got up, and walked over to where Kotah was standing. "Mind if I take a whack at it?" She gave him a crooked smile.

He held out his palm, the needles spreading out in his hand, rattling softly. "Go for it." He waited for her to take a few before stepping to the side. He watched her intently with a smile.

She took a few from his palm, and looked at him with a worried look. Her aim wasn't exactly world reknown. She closed one eye, and looked at her arm, then the tree. She pulled her arm back, and threw. Missed. She repeated the process. Missed. She frowned, and looked over at Kotah. She laughed a little, "I think its harder than it looks!"

She looked closer at the tree, and made the tree trunk raise a little, and bend over right in front of her. With the remaining needle, she stuck it right in the bullseye. And smiled at herself.

"Thats acomplishment right there." She laughed and went over and gave Kotah a hug. "But I think I'll let you do the needle throwing."
