He smiled. "Very creative. Thoughtful, too, raising Archimedes like you did. He's one lucky guy."

"Well, wouldn't be any good to be a sharp shooter without any arrows."

"That's exactly my point." He pointed a finger to compliment his words. "Plus having these around is a good way to uh... begin the first part of my curses. I know it's bad, but it could be worse, asking your enemy to slice you up a bit."

Her purple eyes caught some sunlight and almost glittered. "Well, I guess you could say I have a lot of 'Mother Nature' in me." She smiled softly and blushed.

"That's exactly my point." He pointed a finger to compliment his words. "Plus having these around is a good way to uh... begin the first part of my curses. I know it's bad, but it could be worse, asking your enemy to slice you up a bit."

She almost grimaced at his words, a vision of Kotah getting in a ruthless fight, defenseless until the enemy swung first and didn't miss...She nodded, "Yeah, kinda tricky if you get down to it."

He smiled and wondered if his own eyes did that from time to time. If so, he kne why she was always trying to get his hair out of his face.

"Yeah, kinda tricky if you get down to it."

"I wish I did have someone to spar with, though... I mean, the practice would be nice, but my tricks aren't very... gentle. The least I could do to someone is make their arm numb for a few minutes."

Enelya looked around for a moment, thinking.

"Well, do you think... you could maybe make them numb, and then practice on them, making the effects less.... effective?" She tilted her head, trying to make sure what she just said even made sense.

"Yeah, but wouldn't that be kinda... cruel?" He laughed a bit, nervously. "That's like... carving things into trees just for fun." He shrugged. "Once I study anatomy more, and work on my aim with these things..." He tapped his pouch. "...I can strike in placed that don't hurt very much. Until then, I just gotta chill."

She sighed, "I suppose so, I was just thinking out loud, and brainstorming. I tried... you situation is just too complicated!" She laughed and stuck her tongue out, softly and playfully poking Kotah's chest.

Enelya twisted her toes, and plucked some blueberries, popping them into her mouth. She layed down in the sand, and looked up at the clouds. Pointing at them, "Look, I see a dragon up there... and, a bird...or a dog, depending on how you tilt your head," She laughed, and continued picking out shapes in the clouds.

She laughed and stuck her tongue out, softly and playfully poking Kotah's chest.

He quickly snatched at her tongue as soon as she stuck it out.

She layed down in the sand, and looked up at the clouds. Pointing at them, "Look, I see a dragon up there... and, a bird...or a dog, depending on how you tilt your head," She laughed, and continued picking out shapes in the clouds.

Kotah sat down beside her, legs bent up, leaning forward, and arms resting on knees. He glanced at her before looking up at the sky. His hair was almost completely dry by now. "Think we should start heading back? I could use some rest and then work on my throwing stuffs."

She looked at him and frowned, "You can, but I don't want to... I hate being in those buildings... they are so... confining. I could stay out here forever... I feel like I'm in a cage at the Academy."

"Well, I could always get some more rest out here... That tree was really comfortable." He smiled down at her. "But I need to go back and get my dart board. I usually practice under the shade of the forest outside the Academy. I wouldn't mind if you joined me."

Enelya thought for a moment, and then replied, "Why don't you go get it... and then come back for me, because I don't feel like moving quite yet..." She smiled, and closed her eyes.
