"Yeah, well..." He tried to smile to lighten the mood, but failed as it slid from his face. "It's not exactly a secret if the subject is never brought up, right?" He shrugged and looked down, avoiding her gaze. "It was my fault for bringing it up this time, and I apologize for ruining such a night." He gave her a small hug.

Enelya looked back at him, shaking her head. "Don't be ashamed at the way you view things. It's important to me that you are truthful with me, even if it is that you don't share it period... I try to be as understanding as possible... If I'm not, correct me."

Her face went soft, and she leaned into him, as he hugged her. The saddness in her eyes remained, but a lighter saddness, and yet, a deeper saddness.
