"Think though, after this, we get the grand finally, the stars!"

"I dunno, I think sunsets are the finale, and the stars are like an aftertaste that you can sit and admire all night." He shrugged. "That's just me, though."

"I just can't get over them, I think the best part though, is that no two sunsets are ever the same. Each one is different, each one, is unique."

He nodded in agreement and added, "Sunrises, too. Morning twilight is really interesting to witness when you arn't rushing around to start your day. Maybe I can take you to the roof of the Academy one morning to check it out, hm?"

Around her, little buds and flowers started growing around the two. Enelya didn't mean for it, and blushed afterwards, she was just so excited, and happy. "Whoops, looks like I got a little distracted there..."

He smiled, knowing that she was comfortable here and that the horrors of the forest had disipated into almost nothing. He didn't say anything, though.

She nodded, "Well could be, I just never looked at it that way!"

"Sunrises, too. Morning twilight is really interesting to witness when you arn't rushing around to start your day. Maybe I can take you to the roof of the Academy one morning to check it out, hm?"

She smiled radiantly and again, nodded. "I'd love that. Sunsets in the trees, and the sunrises on the roof. Are we ever going to smoosh a little sleep in there?" she winked at him.

As the sun disappeared over the horizon, little dots started faintly appearing in the sky. She looked up, and asked Kotah, "Can you point out any constellations when we can actually see them?"

He grinned and looked down, slightly embarassed at the innuendo he wasn't sure she meant. "Nah, I don't sleep that much as it is. I like the night too much to miss it, and I need to be awake during the day to get anything done.

"Can you point out any constellations when we can actually see them?"

As the sun set, and the faded reds disapeared with it, he started pointing to the sky. "Some of them are really easy. There..." He pointed to three nicely lit stars that made a line. "That's O'Ryan. Three stars in a line with four others boxing it in." He pointed to another, tracing it with his finger. "And the big dipper. I always have a hard time finding the smaller one." He leaned back in the branch, staring at the sky.

She looked at him with wonder, "Wow, I would fall apart without any sleep. Sure, I love the night just as much as the next guy, but sleep for me is important too... Some days I'll stay up, and stay until the stars come out, while others I'll just wait until the sunsets, and then go to bed. Usually I don't see sunrises. I'm usually sleeping at that time." She giggled.

As he pointed out the constellations, she looked with awe. She never remembered where the stars were, and how they were going to be the next night. Seeing him wanting to lean back, she waved her arms, a few smaller branches came and weaved the two an almost hammock, and Enelya leaned backwards, showing Kotah it would be okay if he leaned back too. She took a deep breath, the night smelled wonderful.

As he pointed the the big dipper, she pointed to the top of the handle. "And that one there is the North Star, right?"

"Usually I don't see sunrises. I'm usually sleeping at that time."

"I got the chance to see my share back home. I slept less then than I do now; but it was more like I'd go without sleep for a day, maybe two, then get a full night of sleep the next. I've never had a stable sleep schedule."

"And that one there is the North Star, right?"

He grinned. "I have no idea. I could never tell the difference between the North star and Venus." He chuckled and laid back. "I've always wanted a hammock... Everytime I've laid in one, I've fallen asleep in a matter of... minutes." He blinked sleepily, not realizing the delay in his speech. "They are way... too... comfortable."

Enelya yawned, smiling. She would have made the tree sway, but it hurt the magnificent plants to do such a thing and besides, they really didn't need any help falling asleep anyways. It... was just... so peaceful. She had her head on his chest, and slowly, her eyes were closing, until she was asleep, under the stars, in a tree, with Kotah.

With the next big sigh, Kotah's eyes shut and refused to open. He hugged Enelya with that arm that was around her, shifted slightly, and fell alseep to the sounds and smells of the night.

As the sunlight began to pour over the two young people's faces, Enelya opened her eyes slowly, and batted them. She sat up, and rubbed them, stretched, and yawned. The sun was rising, and the colors were beautiful.

"Kotah.." she whispered, quietly in his ear, she didn't want him to miss such a sight.

Half of the sun entered the horizon, oranges and yellows danced on the surface of the lake, and the clouds were trimmed with laces of bright colors. It was almost too pretty. But Enelya loved it. She smiled, as a little bluebird came and landed on her shoulder. She whispered to it, "Do you see these sunrises everymoring?" the bird chirped and Enelya laughed softly, giving Kotah some time to wake up. The bird sang a little morning song, and Enelya whistled along with him.

"Kotah.."

He woke without a stir, his eyes opening gradually. His eyes betrayed him, however, showing his stress from the dream he had. His gaze changed as he realized it was morning via the briliant spectical unfolding before his eyes. He sighed softly and nestled into his previous bed.

The bird sang a little morning song, and Enelya whistled along with him.

He smiled at her and said quietly, "Do that at your next talent show and I'm sure you'll win.

He had a strange look on his face, and worriedly, Enelya asked him, "Did you sleep okay?" She gave him a comforting smile, and looked out into the sky.

"Do that at your next talent show and I'm sure you'll win."

Enelya laughed to herself, "Thank you, I've had good teachers." she winked at the bluebird.
