Nicolas frowned when she mentioned the uncle incident. "Come on, haven't you forgiven me by now?" he asked with a sigh. He was never going to live that down, was he?

Adelina folded her arms over her chest. "I am being nice," she said. "And I don't think ice cream is more important than this."

She wouldn't have said that if she knew Mery was pregnant, that was for sure.

"NO! And I want ice cream NOW!" Mery yelled. She folded her arms and started pouting. "WITH PICKLES! So THERE!"

Andrew and Mari just stared.

Nicolas started panicking. "It's ok, sweetie! What kind of ice cream do you want? I'll go get it for you, with pickles!" Didn't Adelina know anything?! One was never supposed to deny a pregnant lady her ice cream!!

Adelina narrowed her eyes. "You're staying here," she said. "Both of you! How do we know you'll come back to help us?!"

"Chocolate!!" Mery bellowed.

She taackled Addie. "We'll come back! I just need ICE CREAM!!!" She said in a whimpery voice. "Please!?" She started crying.

Nicolas took a step back. "She's gonna blow..." he whispered in a frightened tone. This was bad, very bad. Women were really scary!

Adelina hissed when she was tackled. She stared at Mery, confused by the sudden mood swing. "What are you, pregnant or something?!" she exclaimed. "It's only ice cream!"

Mery wailed. "YES! I AM! Do you have a problem with that!?" She curled up in a ball and started rocking back and forth.

Andrew hid behind Mari. Scary pregnant woman...

Zephyer sighed. Was he the only man around this place that wasn't scared by a pregnant woman? Since her husband wasn't doing anything, he decided to. "You can get your ice cream, ok?" he said. "Go on. It's ok."

Adelina sighed. Good thing he had said something before she did, otherwise she might have been rude.

Mery jumped up and bounced over to him. She jumped up and down. "You wanna go with me? Do ya, do ya? Huh? Huh?"

Andrew rolled his eyes at Zeph. He wasn't scared because he didn't know just what a pregnant woman was capable of.

Mery started pouting. "But Nikki. I want the birdie to come with us." She said grumpily, taking her husband's hand.

Mari giggled.
