Adelina and October were about to respond when some stranger appeared.

"Yeah. Lots of minions..." the young man said. He was covered in feathers and had wings, and his arms were folded over his chest. "It's not going to be easy to defeat her." Zephyer turned to Mariska, then back to the others.

"Not even with FIRE!!" Candle exclaimed.

Mari nodded in agreement.

Andrew stared at them. "Who the heck are you?"

"I'm Mariska. Most call me Mari. Sidaj killed my family. And turned Zeph into a crow. And probably a zillion other nepharious things." She explained.

Zephyer nodded. He didn't want to mention just yet that he had been a minion of her at one time himself, since he didn't want to be thought of as an enemy. That wouldn't be good.

"I'm October," the younger girl introduced. "And that's Addie and her husband Andrew. Sidaj killed their son."

Adelina smirked. "We're gonna get revenge. You wanna come too?"

"I've already tried, and lost twice," Zephyer said, but then turned to Mariska. "But if you want to try again..."

Mariska nodded. "Totally. We can't let her keep destroying people's lives." She said excitedly. Nothing to brighten one's day like revenge on evil witches that killed people.

Adelina spun around joyously. "YAAY! REVENGEE!!" she cackled, but stopped when October poked her.

"Calm yourself... you're embarrassing me..." the thirteen-year-old said though her teeth.

Zephyer raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Well, this should definitely be fun."

Candle looked at Andrew and Mariska. "Can we use FIREEEE?!"

Andrew smirked and grabbed Addie's hand. "Sure, we can use fire."

Mari giggled and poked Zeph. "YES it will be fun." She gave him a LOOK.

Had the candle had legs, he would have immediately been spinning and jumping around like a maniac. "WEEE!! FIRE!!! BURN!!!"

Zephyer took a step away from Candle and looked at the Jenson's. "Forgive him..." He looked at Mariks and poked her back — gently, of course, because of his talons.

October laughed. "I like your candle. Where'd you get him?"

Mariska poked Zeph back and took Candle from him. "Sh...you don't want to scare these nice people who might have FIRE away now do you?" She whispered.

"He was in Zeph's dorm room." Mariska told October.

Mari nodded. "Yes, because not everyone is as fond of fire as you are." She explained gently, not wanting to hurt his feelings.

"Always, always. If not more."
