Nodding while he explained further about the powers of the ring, Lidiya marveled at his abilities. It seemed extremely useful. Especially if it meant you could travel across the world (or at least back home) without having to rely on aeroplanes or boats. The extreme height of air travel was really scary and the lack of forestry in the open sea was also nerve wracking for the twelve-year-old girl.

“Your powerful seems so useful! So you can open portals anywhere you’ve been before? Does it matter how far away you are from that place?”

The sound of the wind rustling through the forest reminded Lidiya of where they were. Glancing back down at her harp, Lidiya remembered what she had originally came out here for. Music in the midst of nature was probably the most calming things on the face of earth, and having ‘anger issues’ brought her to love it so much more. She wanted to sit down and play her harp some more but it would be rude to simply ignore Laetus. But maybe he would play another duet with her?! That would be lovely!

Looking back up at Laetus, she decided to ask, “Would you like to play another duet again? I really loved playing with you before.~”

Laetus thought for a moment. "...I don't think so... As long as I've been there. I mean, my home forest is pretty far away, and I could pop in whenever I want if i feel like it... Though I mostly use it for pranks and lazy travel." He answered with a laugh.
Laetus stopped and thought. For a moment, it seems he may not want to play, but this was soon proven to not be the case, as a portal opened up and his ocarina popped into his hand again.
"This one should be good." He said with a smile before drifting out over the ice. He waited till she was ready before beginning.
As he played, it began to snow softly over the area. The snow would seem to dance about on the wind, often catching the moonlight light like a tiny crystal.

For a moment, it seemed as if he didn’t want to play with her. Her face briefly fell in disappointment but then he brought out his ocarina from a portal. Visibly brightening up, Lidiya turned to sit down at her harp. About to ask what song he would like to play, Laetus floated away before she could ask.
Briefly confused, Lidiya waited as he took a spot floating above the icy lake and started his song.

As the first strain of notes drifted through the air, Lidiya took a moment to figure out what the song was. It bore similarity to their first duet they had played together, so Lidiya was able to follow along.

As the area was filled with the sound of music, Lidiya briefly wondered if there were any dryads or nymphs in the forest that would be lured out to dance to the music. Back home in the forests, playing music always mean an impromptu dance performance as many spirits felt the compulsion to celebrate good music with dance. Ah, she was getting homesick again…

The last notes of the song trailed off and there was a brief silence again. Lidiya didn’t exactly want to call out loudly, especially since it was in the middle of the night, to Laetus who was a bit far away for use of an indoor voice; she wondered if it would be fine to just start another song. Well, he had been able to follow along the first time, plus he seems very easy-going so it should be fine right?
Making up her mind to just go with it and continue playing, Lidiya started another song she knew by heart. The stars seems to twinkle and shine brighter as the music drifted across the opening to Laetus.

((ooc// Sorry for the delay in replying. Hopefully this post is okay, I'm still sick so I might have done something weird? Not sure... Also, hope the Mario Galaxy Music is okay too, the music just fits in with the scenery so well.))

((Tis fine. Take your time :) hope you feel better. And that's fine. I agree, it fits perfectly! I wasn't sticking to Zelda for any particular reason. Feel free to play anything ))

Laetus smiled, floating back toward her as he listened. The tune was lovely and calming, he almost forgot he was supposed to join in. When he found his moment, he quickly synced with the song.
He could have kept playing that all night if she did, but once she stopped, he would take a breath and then smile at her.
"That was beautiful." He told her, simultaneously trying to think of something to top it. "I don't think I've heard that one before."
