Percy stood by the lake staring at the reflection of his now 22 year old face. His eyes still haven't gotten used to them being older, he looked so different. His whole body seemed more grown up, he had muscles which exactually showed up more. And he was more hansome then he had ever been, he almost felt uneasy. He never thought he'd be older and now being older it was like a shock to him. He thought of Cordelia, his heart skipped a beat, this meant she and him weren't impossible anymore. He fought the urge to go find her and show her the change and just ask her to be his for real. But he knew she was still sensitive on her past. He looked at the water silence in the air as cherry blossoms from the trees near the lake blew in the wind.

He wished he could just tell Cordelia how strongly he felt for her, he wanted only for her happiness. And he loved her so deeply for she was the only one who seemed to not focus on his age. They had gotten so close in the time they had together at the Valentine's Day Hoedown. His hand moved to his pocket, there was a small necklace in a box. It had a beautiful jewel of her favorite color with a silver heart surrounding it. On the back around the silver heart was inscribed "My heart beats for you - Percy" He wanted to give it to her so much, but he knew she'd probably say something negative about it and it'd only push her further away from him. He had saw it in the store and only could think of her, he had it inscribed incase he ever had the chance to give it to her.

He sat down on a bench and sighed, he knew his chances with her were slim. But he couldn't forget her, not her smile, her eyes, her hair, her spirited ways. His heartbeat paced just thinking about her.

Cordelia walked along the hallway that led outside, an unsure look in her dark blue eyes. She folded her arms over her chest, tightening her coat as she did so, preparing to go outside. Lately, she had been thinking a lot about things, and had done a lot of work on straightening out her thoughts. So far, she had come to the conclusion that maybe being mean wasn't exactly helping her, even though being nice... well... that was going to take a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot of work. She had also figured out that she couldn't hold onto the past forever, and that if she didn't give Percy a chance she was going to regret it for the rest of her immortal life. He was so sweet, and kind, and what had she done to him? Treat him like trash. That's why she had to find him and tell him how she felt before something happened and it would be too late.

The twenty year old vampire exited the school building, looking around. It really wasn't as cold as she had thought it was going to be. Well, oops. She didn't take her coat off, though, and she just ignored the temperature for now. She had more important things on her mind.

She looked around, swallowing, hoping she would find him soon. As she glanced around, she noticed someone standing near the lake, and an eyebrow raised slightly. He looked oddly familiar... and the female couldn't help but walked toward him, confused. She didn't know what it was, but she knew she had seen him before. Maybe it was some guy she had beaten up... nah, that wasn't it. What IS it?! she wondered.

Then it hit her.

"Percy...?" she asked softly, standing about a yard behind him as she looked at him, blinking. If this was Percy, she wouldn't believe it. How could he have gotten older?

He turned around at the voice, the voice he had heard so often in his dreams. He smiled at her his eyes had a loving gaze to them. "I'm different no?" He said with a light chuckle, "Rayana did this after she knocked me out, she's a very odd one. She hits extremely hard too my head hurt for weeks, she gets crabby easily." He said with a light chuckle, "I'm kinda glad she hates younger vampires or I possibly could've been kidnapped." He said with a light joking chuckle, his scratched the back of his neck. He wasn't used to the new body thing, he didn't know what to really say or do since this was their first meeting since the transformation.

"So... What brings you here?" He said trying to not let a odd silence wreck their remeeting, he was partly afraid she'd be against the change. He didn't want her to not want to be around him anymore, but he didn't want to force her into a relationship that she didn't want. He wished he could love her with all his heart and not retrain himself from showing his affection for her. But he had to stay cool or he might lose her, he fought within himself his hand touching the bow in his pocket. He wanted so much to give to her.

"I'm different no?"

It was him. Cordelia smiled at him, for once not really minding that loving look in his eyes. She would have returned it, but she didn't want to get ahead of herself. She still had to explain everything and the like. "Yeah..." she said, fighting back tears. She was just happy to see him... and, well, to be honest, had really just been an emotional mess lately.

"Rayana did this after she knocked me out, she's a very odd one...."

She laughed softly. "Why'd she knock you out? Want me to hurt her for you?" She smiled, wondering what he would say to that. It really wouldn't be too much trouble to hurt the older woman, especially if she had just randomly attacked the man she loved. Although she kind of doubted that had happened.

"So... What brings you here?"

"I needed to find you... I have to talk to you..." At this point, her eyes seemed to take on watery look, which was extremely weird for her. She rarely cried. "I've just been thinking lately... and... I decided that I can't just ignore my feelings..." Her lip trembled and she sniffed, a few red tears falling from her eyes. She really was a mess. "I... I... Percy..." She looked at him, that loving look coming to her eyes. "I love you."

She wiped her eyes with the sleeve of her shirt, sniffling again. Even if she knew he loved her, she was still slightly scared of rejection. What if he had found someone else? What if she was just too late?

He noticed something seemed different in her, she seemed like something was bothering her. He watched her, she looked happy to see him. He wondered if someone hurt her or if she remembered her past husband and son. His eyes moved to her's he wanted to ask what was wrong but he couldn't utter a word. She was so beautiful, he mentally smacked himself upside the head trying to knock himself out of it so she didn't hit him. But the loving look didn't leave his eyes.

"Why'd she knock you out? Want me to hurt her for you?"

"Nah, she had a mood swing and whacked me and made me walk around not realizing I was transformed. But she did transform me so she doesn't need to get beat up or anything." He said with a chuckle, he listened to her reply to his previous question. He listened intently not expecting what she was going to say to him.

"I needed to find you... I have to talk to you..."

Her eyes had moistened, he moved closer concern in his eyes. He At this point wanted to ask what was wrong or why she was on the verge of tears. But felt she was going to say why so he listened nearby her.

"I've just been thinking lately... and... I decided that I can't just ignore my feelings..."

His heart raced, feelings? She had feelings, hate? anger? sadness from her past? love?! No... it couldn't be, his thoughts raced in his mind he looked at her his heart pounding as it waited for the answer to all the questions which flooded in his mind. He moved closer wiping the tear from her face, he couldn't stand to see her so upset. His arms wrapped around her in a hug, unknowning of the words which would come from her mouth.

"I... I... Percy... I love you."

His heart stopped midbeat, then raced he held her now tightly. "Cordelia..." He held her tightly fighting back tears of his own, "I love you so much Cordelia... So much..." He wanted to kiss her but he didn't want to push the relationship to move at a uncomfortable speed for her if that was. He just held her tightly in his arms he closed his eyes as a tear dripped down his cheek. He knew it was odd for a man to cry, but he had never thought this time would come. He had never thought love would come his way and now he had just found out Cordelia loved him too. His kissed her hair softly his embrace loving, he wanted to be with her forever.

"Nah, she had a mood swing and whacked me and made me walk around not realizing I was transformed. But she did transform me so she doesn't need to get beat up or anything."

"Haha, alright," Cordelia told him. "Would have been fun to hurt her anyway, though..." An innocent smile came over her face as she said that and she laughed quietly, but it was a sad kind of laughing.

As he wiped the tears from her face, the woman just cried harder. It felt good having someone there to wipe away her tears, and she wouldn't have rathered it to anyone else besides Percy. He was all she wanted, all that she needed. Once he wrapped his arms around her, Cordelia hugged him back, resting her head on his shoulder. She hoped that he wouldn't mind the fact that his shoulder was getting soaked, and would probably be stained slightly with blood because of the tears as well.

"I love you so much Cordelia... So much..."

She continued to sob. "I'm so sorry for every mean thing I've done and said to you," she wait, hugging him tighter, just wanting to be forgiven and wanting him to love her. "And for every mean thing I might do in the future, just please, I'm sorry..." She sniffed, feeling really pathetic right now for crying. Even with that thought in mind, being with Percy finally made her feel like she was worth something again.

She smiled as he kissed her hair. "I just love you," she told him. "And I'm sorry for getting your shoulder wet." She laughed softly, backing away just a little bit and wiping her eyes, hoping he wouldn't mind that.

He payed no mind to her tears staining his shirt, he held her tightly letting her cry as much as she wanted. He loved her so much and nothing else could ever fill her place in his heart. He wanted to make her happy and nothing else made him happier than knowing she was happy and even more important in love with him as well.

"I'm so sorry for every mean thing I've done and said to you, And for every mean thing I might do in the future, just please, I'm sorry... I just love you... And I'm sorry for getting your shoulder wet."

He backed away from her slightly loosening his hug he wiped her tears again and as she said another apoligy he put his finger to her lips. Looking in her eyes lovingly, his purple ones gazing deeply into her dark blue ones, he moved closer to her his right hand tilting her head everso gently. His heart raced as he moved his lips closer to her's his breath right near her lips he paused looking in her eyes with so much love. He then kissed her, the amount of his love was shown in the kiss. It was so passionate and loving but not pushy or fast. Just soft sweet, long yet so loving his heart raced with love for her.

Cordelia fought away a slight frown when he backed away and loosened his hold on her. Sure, she had backed away first, but that didn't mean she was exactly happy about it. It was nice being in his arms. As he wiped her tears, though, she smiled slightly, inwardly promising that she would stop crying now. There was no reason to be doing so, really. This may have been her first relationship after her husband's death, but still, this was supposed to be happy. What was she bawling over?

As she continued apologizing, Percy had put his finger to her lips to keep her quiet. She blushed, feeling bad for making him listen to her ramble off apologies left and right. She returned his loving look, gazing into his eyes. She was really the luckiest woman in the world to have him.

Once his lips moved closer to hers, she knew he was going to kiss her, and she really didn't have a problem with that. As his lips finally met hers, her heart seemed to skip a beat and she was just overwhelmed with happiness. Confessing her feelings to him was probably the best thing she had done recently. After a few moments, she pulled away and just smiled, then smirked, realizing something.

"Haha, we're the same height," she told him with a light laugh. Alright, so that was random and really didn't have anything to do with the subject, but she had found it amusing. "Sorry, that was kind of random..."

"Haha, we're the same height, Sorry, that was kind of random..."

He smiled, "Your right we are, I guess that means we are meant for eachother." He said with a light smile, he loved her so much he never guessed he'd find someone. He held her in his arms not too pushily or tightly, just lovingly. The words to their first dance filled his mind, as he held her in his arms.

"Some enchanted evening you may see a stranger
You may see a stranger across a crowded room
And somehow you know, you know even then
That somewhere you'll see her again and again

Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing
You may hear her laughing across a crowded room
And night after night, as strange as it seems
The sound of her laughter will sing in your dreams

Who can explain it, who can tell you why
Fools give you reasons, wise men never try

Some enchanted evening, when you find your true love
When you feel her call you across a crowded room
Then fly to her side and make her your own
Or all through your life you may dream all alone

Once you have found her, never let her go
Once you have found her, never let her go "

He said it softly to her as he held her, how much she meant to her. His voice wasn't that wonderfully wonderful but he could sing it well enough. He kissed her on the cheek when he finished, he never wanted to lose her. Rayana had done him a big favor by turning him older, they wouldn't have been able to kiss or him to hold her the same if he hadn't been the height he was now. He slowly took her hand letting go of her only to lead her to the bench by the beautiful lake. He offered her a seat the scene was so beautiful, the cherry blossoms and lake glistening so beautifully. He had decided now was the time to give her the necklace.

"Your right we are, I guess that means we are meant for eachother."

Cordelia laughed softly. "Indeed!" she said with a smile. She loved Percy so much... she was truly glad that he had come into her life. If he hadn't, she would still be sulking around and being a witch to everyone she met. At least now she had a reason to be kinder to people, and maybe now her life could finally get out of the darkness it had been in for so long.

"Some enchanted evening you may see a stranger
You may see a stranger across a crowded room
And somehow you know, you know even then
That somewhere you'll see her again and again

Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing
You may hear her laughing across a crowded room

Or all through your life you may dream all alone

Once you have found her, never let her go
Once you have found her, never let her go "

Cordelia's eyes teared up again. That had been the first song they ever danced to, and it meant so much to her. To her, it sort of described them in a way, which made it mean even more. As he kissed her on the cheek a small smile came to her face. Percy really meant so much to her.

When he let go of her she blinked, but allowed him to take her hand. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze and smiled again, walking with him to the bench. The twenty year old sat down, looking at him and then at the cherry blossoms. "They're so pretty..." she said to him. In all her despair in the last few months, she had never really noticed just how beautiful everything could be, and she was glad to finally have opened eyes.
