Keegan growled as she left the convenience store. People stepped out of her way as she stomped down the street, a sour expression tainting her face and a plastic bag at her side.
"Every single freaking time, why is it every time?" She turned, and yelled in the general direction of the store. "I visit every week Ted! You know me!"
She grumbles as she makes her way to a more isolated area of the city, parking herself on a bench. She pulled a small cardboard box from the bag and smiled at the packaging.
Magic Stripe, her preferred Brand of Cigarette. She opened the pack and pulled one of the cigs out, fishing her lighter out from one of the pockets of her outfit. She quickly lit the cigarette, and took a long drag, sighing contently as she leaned back against the bench.
Nothing could ruin her peace right now.
Probably.
