Ellia sat on the lawn, her unseeing eyes looking around as if she could see. One really couldn't tell she was blind unless they tested her. She rose up with a sigh, sitting on the grass was no fun when you couldn't watch the birds or the sky or even the sunset. She had never seen any of these things. She never brought a cane with her so she wouldn't look like a weirdo or get picked on.
She got up and started to walk, soon banging into a tree because of her pride. She sighed, walking away from the people she heard laughing. She hated the fact all she saw was darkness, she never saw anything than the pitch black existance of nothing. She saw nothing, her whole life was spent in this darkness. People made fun of her, treated her different, some pitied her, some ridiculed her. She had no way to see anything around her than to sense or use a thing to feel for her. She didn't do seeing eye dogs or other such things.
