Live was in decent shape. She use to be in better shape though. During her freshman and sophomore year she had started working out regularly. It had actually helped her for a while with her "anger issues" but she got lazy and life got rough and she gave up.

But now she was at a new school. This was a new chapter in her life and she was determined to at least make it a decent one. Part of that was getting herself back in shape again!

She made her way down to the sports field. She wasn't exactly sure what she was going to do but she figured running was a good way to start. And a good way to check and see where she was at. She figured it probably wouldn't be great but she had to start somewhere right?

She wore black sweats, a dark blue tank top, and some dark gray running shoes. Sadly, she couldn't really wear her pentagram necklace running or it would have also been on. It was a cloudy day out, which was perfect. If there was sun Live wouldn't have even dared trying to go workout outside. After 30 minutes in the sun she would black out and she was not about that life.

Milk was out working on the track, simply jogging around it. Bear was sick at the moment, some sort of stomach issues causing the large animal to not be able to work out with Milk.

Added to that, it had rained recently in the forest, making it difficult to do her normal workouts. As such, the fighter was simply jogging around the schools track, wondering what to do.

She noticed a figure walking up, and paid no real notice to her. After all, it looked like a student, nothing to worry about.

Milk gave her a wave, and continued to jog around the track.

There weren't many other people outside. Just her and a handful of students. There was only one other person out running, which made Live feel a bit better. She would have just gone back to her room if there had been too many people out.

She was about to start her run, probably just for a mile or so, when the other person out running waved at her. She wasn't going to wave back. Why would she? She didn't know the person and waving just seemed like a bother.

She sat down her bag near the edge of the track and grabbed her head phones and phone. She then started out on the track. Just walking at first, so she could set up her music and warm up a bit soon. Hopefully the other girl out there running wasn't going to try to make Live her new jogging buddy.

Milk continued to run, just moving past Live, not bothering to start up a conversation. Why would she? They were both simply running, there was no need to talk. Milk continued her run, quietly thudding along the track.

Milk never slowed down though, keeping her pace. It was like she didn't need to rest. The tanned woman ran forward, eyes straight ahead. She looked like a robot stuck on repeat.

Now, Live would never ever admit to it but she was an extremely competitive person. She didn't involve herself in competitive things often even because of it. She got way to hell bent on having to be the best. So more often than not, Live had resigned herself to not even trying.

She wasn't planning on making this a competitive run, and there really was no reason too but as the girl passed her, she felt something in her spark. She watched the perfecting fit and tan girl running and Live could feel her jealousy rising. Live was in decent shape but she was about as pale as could be. I mean, that sort of happens when you are essentially allergic to the sun.

Live hated feeling jealous of the other girls tan and flawless running. It was so stupid of her to be jealous. Live could feel herself getting mad at herself of being jealous and then therefor mad at the other girl for making her jealous. Live's mind came to only one conclusion; beat the other girl!

With that Live slowly began to pick up the pace. Just enough to keep up a bit better with the other girl and try to give herself an idea of how fast she would need to go to stay ahead. Maybe even just lap her once. Not really a noticeable competition but just something Live could know she beat the other girl at. Yeah, that would make her feel better.

Milk was running at a completely steady pace, a little over a jog. A thin sheen of sweat over her body as she ran, and as she turned a corner, Live might be able to notice a strange click, and a shiny silver clicker held tightly in her hand.

Maybe Milk was counting her laps? It was only a quarter-mile track, after all.

Milk didn't say anything as Live got closer, she simply continued to run. Plodding along the track, step after step after step.

Live was gaining on the girl a bit. She knew she could out run her for a short period of time but she had to at least run a mile and finish that mile ahead of this girl. That was the goal.

She noticed the shinny clicker in the girls hand but didn't think much of it. After all, she was holding her phone listening to music.

After they rounded another one of the corners, so the longer side of the track was ahead of them, Live decided to pick up the pace. She had already completed one lap so there were only three left. She moved to pass the girl and as she did shot a glare her way. Not really on purpose, but she couldn't pass her and not make some kind of face.

Milk didn't really react as Live passed her. She only glanced at the girl when she was glared at. Milk's expression never changed, showing no emotion.

Milk couldn't really care less as she got passed. She simply continued to run at her steady pace, moving swiftly around the track. Live would beat her in running the mile, and might even catch up to her again.

When Milk was finished with her run, she simply slowed and stepped off the track to begin stretching, cooling down.

Live finished her mile about half a lap ahead of the girl. She really wanted to keep going, prove that she could completely beat the girl but her lungs hurt and and her legs were tired. It was at that moment that Live realized just how much smoking had taken effect on her lungs. Well, that was an issue to tackle on a different day.

Live went off to the side to start stretching and maybe doing some sit ups or something. Not because she really wanted to stay out on the track much longer but... Well, she wanted to watch the other girl longer.

The girl finished her running as Live was beginning to do some crunches and sit ups. She watched the other girls routine. She didn't really care if the other girl caught her staring at her or anything. She just wanted to know what it was this girl did to look like that. Live wanted to look like that too. Not the pale toothpick she was now.

Milk continued with her cool down stretching, only vaguely aware of Live nearby. The fighter nodded to herself as she finished her stretching, and walked over to a small bag nearby to pull out a towel and wipe the sweat from her brow. Then she pulled the little clicker out, and looked at the number.

Milk stared at it for a few seconds, before putting the clicker down and pulling a small notepad out and jotting the number down. She glanced up and noticed Live staring at her, before walking the short distance over.

"Do you need something?" She asked in her normal complete monotone.
