Dinner for Two

Nix adjusted his tie as he flew along, the setting sun illuminating his path as he traveled. He could barely sleep after last night, his wonderful meeting with Kiara. Who knew that those dances would actually provide some use aside from a nice dinner.

Nix landed at Kiara's house, adjusting his suit again before he walked up. He checked his watch, and smiled at seeing he was exactly one minute early. He waited a few seconds, before knocking on the door.

Nix liked being punctual, especially with a beautiful woman such as Kiara. He had made reservations at one of the nicer restaurants in town, right on the water. It was hard to get reservations, but luckily for Nix he was friends with the owner.

Kiara normally preyed on younger men, so this was the first time that she went out with someone close to her age. She didn't really date back during her assassin days. She wasn't into the scene until she chose to settle down. The kitty made sure to put on one of her sexier dresses. She wore a backless sparkly blue dress with a side split up the leg. Her strappy pumps were gold with a round toe. Her long hair was made wavy and wrapped around her shoulder. For jewelry, she wore a gold choker with blue and gold crystal earrings. She needed no makeup.

The moment she heard the knock on the door, she ran over and ripped it open. Just the sight of the lawyer made her pounce on him.

"NIXY!!!"

The woman hugged her date tightly. She lightly nuzzled against him.

"Your timing is impeccable~"

Nix knew Kiara was coming before she opened the door, though she didn't give him much notice. He knew she was going to tackle him, and somehow his wind never stopped her when she did, though it did prevent him from falling backwards when the catwoman leaped into his arms. The lawyer let his arms fall across her back, holding her close.

"I've told you before to stop calling me that." He said rolling his eyes. "And of course it is, I couldn't dare be late for dinner with a beauty such as yourself?"

"Sorry!~"

It was her verbal tic. She always gave nicknames that were variations of a person's name. She couldn't help but call the handsome lawyer Nixy! Kiara's tail wagged happily as she cuddled the man. She even let out a tiny purr. This was one sexy cat girl, and she was clearly showing her kitty side. Her head lifted slightly so that her mismatched eyes could look into his. They were about the same height oddly enough.

"Ready when you are!"

She couldn't wait!

Nix rolled his eyes, but smiled regardless. He chuckled as he watched Kiara's tail begin to wag, rubbing her back as she purred.

"Well, let us be off then." Nix pulled Kiara into a bridal carry, and took to the skies, cutting travel time in half by simply ignoring the roads.

It was a wonder how fast you could get places when you could fly, wasn't it?

Below them, Manta Carlos hustled and bustled as the nightlife began to flood in. Clubs began to open, and couples from all over began to go about their night.
