Royce is a tiny redhead nerd with mixed white and chinese features.
He's four feet six inches tall, teeny tiny eleven year old that you would mistake for not being younger the majority of the time- but then the way he dresses, acts, and stands with over-perfect posture would confuse you once again into thinking older instead.
He dresses with an aesthetic mix of high society heir and warlock. Classy, fancy-schmancy warlock. And he talks with big words and language, is intelligent, and tries to imitate proper adult ways of holding himself.
Royce is always clean and neatly put together, and tries to make up for being short by not standing down from anyone else and addressing them either from the standpoint of his being their equal or superior.
Royce can often be seen carrying around assortments of books. Sometimes too many books. This kid does not look strong enough to carry that many books at once, but he absolutely is. He could fight you if he wanted to, he's just a scaredy and doesn't like getting rough and dirty. Ew. Don't touch him.
Royce is half undead, which shows a bit with his sharper teeth and complexion, but it isn't super obvious and you wouldn't be able to immediately state it as a fact. His zombie status is kept more quiet in comparison to his warlock status.
Personality Description:
Royce is a crybaby. He's anxious and scared with almost everything, and not yet too great at keeping his emotions inside and to himself. Not to mention, he'll cry out of anger and outrage, and really any strong emotion, because it just gets into him so strongly that he can't help but express and get it out somehow. The fact that he can cry while angry just makes him more angry, and he'll be yelling and hissing at people through tears and it's just ridiculous. And the worst. Awful.
One of his other strongest personality traits is his sense of superiority, snobbishness, bossiness, etc. He considers himself better than most kids his age and even people that are older, and other than the crying and anxiousness, usually acts it. He's snooty, snarky, responsible, thoughtful, and very studious. He's got a bit of genius intellect, a lot of it in magical pursuits and acting his part as an heir. He has great appreciation and leanings towards high society pursuits- both as the main heir being groomed to be head of house, and just as his own personal preference- and is a bit squeamish about things that are the opposite of that.
He loves reading and does a lot of time read fun, fictional things just as much as the outright academic- one of the few things that doesn't add to his all-serious all the time uptight self. He also has a lot of innocent wonder and appreciation for all more high quality intellectual things.

Royce is undead, and it comes with a few perks. Royce has some enhanced versions of normal abilities, like strength and sense of smell in particular (but not limited to those things).
Royce can feel it, but physical pain is decently numbed for him, and you can tear into his flesh without doing much. Like the usual zombies, his head is his weak point, but unlike usual zombies, he's held together by pretty strong magic. That's certainly the way to put him out of commission for a while, but eventually, Royce will knit back together.
Royce doesn't need to eat or sleep as much as a normal person would, will take a very long time to get affected by substances as an adult, and is pretty invulnerable to most poisons and the like.
Royce can also eat raw human flesh to heal himself.

Resistance to outside magic, and enhancement of your own: This is very helpful when making business deals with tricky devils. This ability will get stronger as he ages, and is currently pretty mild.
Magical energy manipulation: Pure magical energy usage, with the intent generally affecting what happens with it. Best used in someone with both large magical reserves, and mental control/determination. Fairly easy things to use this for include telekinesis and pain causing. This ability will get stronger as he ages, and is currently pretty mild.
Aura/magic/power sensing: Passive ability. Royce is good at feeling magic, it's in his blood. This ability will get stronger as he ages, and is currently pretty mild.
Ancient Family Gifts: (VERY PASSIVE, NOT A POWER BUT A SPECIES DESC/DESC FOR OTHERS INTERACTING WITH HIM) Born to a well known, very old, rich with both money and magic, family; Royce has what he's expected to have. His magic carries the mark and taste of his family, the refinement carefully molded and bred over generations. It's slower and heavier than some newer, fresher magic, but powerful, and some traditions exist for a reason. Has some new blood mixed in, so the magic has a unique taste.

Magical prodigy: Even if not skilled in something, generally, Royce can grasp the basic concept of something very quickly, both from natural talent and intelligence/interest- and be ready to try at least the bare bones of it out. There's some mimicry elements in here, if he can get a feel for another person's magic/is near them. He can do a lot if he puts his mind to it, but that's usually more long term than instant use. This ability will get stronger as he ages, and is currently moderate to strong (definitely strong leaning when it's long term learning.)
Study bug: Royce carries around spell books, to pick little things out from, around constantly. He enjoys his quick hexes, tiny hurtful or prank spells that last short term, a great deal. He's good at this.
Biography:
Royce was born, technically in the far-ish future, a little combination of Clarence and Lei, and the middle child of the Feng-So-kijak-Crowther family. He loves his whole family dearly, but his sibling Meili is a menace that lured him into a time machine... By saying it was too cool for him. Which he replied to, crying, with some slurred ramble about absolutely being cool enough. And at the same time, complaining that MOM SAID- but whoops!
Whoops. Now he's back in time, and his three parents are all young adults. What is this. Why is this. He is going to yell both outwardly and inwardly for however long this goes on. BEING BACK IN TIME MAKES STUDYING SO HARD, AND HIS PROPERLY AGED PARENTS ARE GONE AND EVERYTHING IS SCARY. But wait. Can he take advantage of this to steal the glory for discoveries that'll be made in the future? No, the time laws won't allow it? Curses. Back to screaming, then.
